Chapter 20th

"Why suddenly? "

"I thought you might be missing him. and he's here now, it's easy for you to meet him.
And maa was also asking me to drop you at mansion, they all miss you."

"... I've just meat them a few days ago."
Currently Daksh was literally dragging me to family mansion at seven in the morning.
Dadu paid us a visit because there was a wedding he was attending here. He reached there yesterday night and was way too busy with his friend to even give me call.

"They do, trust me."
He took a turn and I knew that we were just a few meters away from the mansion.

He've been acting weird from past few days. A suspicious kind of weird.
Yesterday night he has been talking, more like mumering to himself looking at the laptop. When I asked, he started talking rubbish of how the CEO need to pay attention even at 2 A:M in midnight.

And now he has been forcefully sending me here. Even through dadu said he will stay for a few days.

"You are acting weird."
I commented stepping out of his car.
His feet halted and he turned to look at me with a bright smile.

"Why are you happy? "

"Uh- how can I not, you came to meet your grandfather after years. "

"Are you OK? Do you have fever, or a cold maybe? "
I took my palm against his forhead to check his temperature.
His forhead was a little sweaty for the windy weather.

Maybe he is really sick...

"I'm perfectly fine precious. I've just got a lot of work to do and I thought you might me bored staying alone at apartment. "

"But- "

"Oh, you guys are here. "
Dhriti ran towards us with her usual bright face and beautiful smile. She gave him a side hug and took my hands pulling me inside.

"Maa, Daksh bhai and Aarna bhabhi is here.
Everyone is on living room I think. "

When we reached the living room, all elders were sitting, talking to themselves.

"Dada ji look who's here."
Dhriti's cheerful voice attracted all the attention towards us and a content smile graced their lips.
I moved to touch their feets pulling him with me, just in case he if he ran off. I needed answers of some questions from him.

"Kaise ho baache."
My heart swell because of the love and care in his voice. It wasn't like I was not getting love and attention here, but dadu's voice was enough to make my eyes wet.

"And how are you young man."
The pat Daksh got on his forearm sounded  quite painful and dadu hand was quite hard, not to mention...

"I'm perfectly fine."
There was a weird staring contenst between the two of them.
Suddenly dadu laughed and softly patted his head whistle shaking his head.

"Maa, I have uh- a important meeting,  so I will be leaving."

"Do you two had your breakfast?"
Maa asked as she moved towards the dinning to set us all breakfast.

"I will have it in office- "
This guy was really doing something suspicious behind my back.

"Did I said you can?
Aarna will you please help me. "

"Of course maa. "
Sometimes I wonder if he is really afraid of her or is respecting her.
He sighed and took the seat beside Aarav.

DAKSH'S POV

"Good morning bhaiya."

"You are way too bright for my morning."
My hands pushed his face afar as I inspected the people in the table.
