DAKSH POV

I love her, more than I could explain.
I loved the way she looked at me, loved the way she smiled, loved the wrinkling of her nose when she doesn't like something, her annoyed face in morning, her sleepy yawn.
I loved how perfectly she fits on my arms, how perfectly our palm against each other. Every curve, every cell, I love everything about her.

I love her more than I've love anyone.
I can't even think about loving anyone else beside her... not even myself.

The mumbling outside increased and I knew that it was Athrav. He had a habit to come unannounced.
Guess I've had to bid bye to her, but only if she wants to.

"Do you want to go home-"

Before I could complete my question a angry looking Athrav was standing in front of me with anger in his eyes.
My eyes went to his shaking hands.

"The farmhouse... "

His eyes flickered to the presence in the room before completing his sentence.

"It's on fire and the goods are gone."

My mind reminds me about the recent Egyptian statues that were imported. Then came the recent news running  to my mind.
Fire, the whole farm house is burnt. And the statues are gone.

"Yash!! "

Athrav's bold voice was more hard than needed.

"Get the driver to drop Aarna home. "

I eyed Aarna who was looking confused with the sudden change of atmosphere. My hands went to his checks caressing it, I tried to give my best composed voice.

"Get home, I will be late."

She nooded slowly taking in the situation.
When she was out of my sight, my mind buzzed with questions and possibilities. Who would've dared to do this, even after knowing that Athrav got connections with Mafia.

"Who fucking told you to put it in farm house? "

His voice was cold, he was trying hard to hold the anger inside him. His hands that were in fist were turned red.

"We got the warehouse for a reason right.
How can you be so stupid!? "

"Don't yell! "

"Don't fucking tell me what to do! "

He was right, how can I leave a million worth good on a damn farmhouse with only twenty men to guard.
It was not the first work Athrav handed me. He use to hand the work of import and export of goods as he was busy with his company and dealing with the other paperwork.
But it was the first time that something like this happened. How can I be so careless with handing the job to Shah without giving a proper instruction.

My mind clicked with the name, Rajeev Shah. That guy specially asked to keep the goods at farmhouse, excusing that only a few people knew about the place was mine and that it was good to keep the important things close to everyone eyes, in farmhouse.

"Shah... "

"What? "

"Your goods will be in the warehouse within a day."

I knew where I could find the damn Shah. I was confident that I will throw Shah at Athrav's feet with 24 hours. He would be either at one of his houses or at the run to airport to leave the county.
And if he is thinking of leaving the country, that's too bad for him.

"Get our men to check the airport and keep a eye there. And bring some men to check the houses of Shah.
Give them orders to shoot him at the spot but not to kill that shit."
