Turning the lights on, I made my way into the living room.
I picked my laptop which was laying in the sofa, threw my bag and coat on the bean bag and started the laptop.

I needed to know about Mrs. Ahuja's image in fashion industry.
There were just rumors about her diet and surgeries. The whole page was filled with her being a saintess.

After surfing internet for nearly two hours I saw a article that was of my use. The article didn't had many likes and the few comments that it got was also hateful.
I opened the page for the full article but it was being error, guess my father-in-law really is active in these things.

After giving many tries I quit.
I needed someone to get the information from inside, who can give me the news of her behavior and doings. Guess I should've had made friends...

At first I thought about asking Daksh but he had already much in his plate. Dadaji is in no use for this, the only person who was left was Athrav bhai.

I didn't had a very close relationship with him, what if he thinks of me as a bad woman who is trying to sue her mother-in-law.
But then again she killed his father, maybe I'll be a little help to him.

Without thinking anything more, I picked up the phone from the table and dialed his number. As it started ringing my heart started to beat faster. I even thought about cutting the call, I could've if he hadn't picked up this fast.

"Hello."

My mind started buzzing, how should I greet Jim.
Should I be formal or should I be frank, but our I haven't talked enough with him to be being frank.

"Hello?"

"Umm, I need to meet you."

No shit, that's not the right way. I should great him first, he is older than me.
But greeting him now would be weird should I leave the formalities...

"Hmm? Why? "

"I- I have to talk about Mrs. Ahuja."

The silence at the other side was anything but scary.
What if he will not help me, what if he will get angry for talking about Mrs. Ahuja. Cause as much as I knew he really truly hated her with his every cell.

I waited and waited, it feels like an hour when he finally spoke.

"I'll send you location and time."

"Oh, okay."

And with that the call ended. It was not after long that my phone pinged and his name displaced.
As he said, he send me location not too far from the penthouse rather it was close.

It wasn't like I didn't wanted to tell Daksh about this, I took a mental note to tell me once he will be home.
I moved towards the bedroom to fresh up and change into something comfortable.
I checked the clock and it was nearly three o'clock. Feeling hungry and not in mood to do much work I settled to cheesy garlic bread.

After getting my tummy full I started Netflix and settled with Elite.

DAKSH'S POV

Signing paper and doing meetings, that's all I've been doing since morning. I wanted to return to my woman but luck was not on my side.

I was still cursing my luck when Yash put more files picking up the previous one.
My gaze first went to him and then at the mountain of files. He had picked every other file in the building. Guess I won't be greeting my wife early.

"Did do get the location?"

"Yes, it's an old warehouse but the security is tight."

"Nearly 30 men with armed weapons."
