DAKSH'S POV

How does it feel when you have every happiness in the world, yes that was what I was feeling every other day.
Content, satisfaction, joy and most of all fulfillment.

I watched as my whole family was buzzing in happiness. Some running from room to room, some ordering the servant and there is my life, sitting on the sofa with my grandmother and learning how to knit.

"Daksh, kya kar rha hai. Jaa Aarav ko airport se le aa. Flight aa gyi ho gi uski. "

Maa ordered me standing beside a worker who looked confused why the tailored pleat curtains were more good looking pinch pleat curtains according to maa.

"No need maa, I'm already here. "

Aarav's voice was heard not too long after her order. His first stop after coming home was Aarav, who looked as excited as him. They gave each a side hug which looked like they were separated for years.

"You know bhabhi how much I missed you. There were days when I wanted to run back here and eat the dishes you made. And ofcourse I missed your special butter chicke-
Why are you crying! "

My head snapped towards them as I saw Aarav's scared face looking at my womans' balling eyes. I sprinted to them and gave a glare to Aarav.

"I- I... "

"Thank-you Aarav, I missed you too. "

And within seconds my wife was broke out of my hands and was slightly hugging Aarav who was now smirking at me.
Only if he wasn't my brother.

"Bhabhi, mai aa gyi! "

Dhriti's chirping voice echoed in the living room as she happily skipped towards us. Beside her was Athrav as usual wearing a scroll as if someone has passed in his cereals.

Dhriti has moved out to live in the hostel as she was getting busier with her studies. Aarav was now living in Germany and was also completing his degree.
Athrav was as usual, mostly in his office. Either working or attending any online meeting. He was extending his business, so ofcourse he was always busy. But today he looked more tensed than usual as if something was eating him up.

"They kicked! Definitely gonna be a soccer player like their uncle. "

Aarav screamed at top of his lungs feeling the kicks of my child.

Aarna was seven month pregnant,  her pregnancy confirmed 2 weeks after after our arrival from Paris. When I heard the news that I'm going to be a father, I was in the ninth cloud but also was a little worried.
Worried if I'm gonna be a good father or not, worried if I'm ready for this or not. But all my worries faded when I saw the picture little our child which was slowly growing inside Aarna's belly. Getting ready for the world. And I knew that I needed to get strong for my child because I didn't wanted them to give the childhood I once had.

In seventh month Aarna's mood swing were slightly fading as compared to the last six months. The starting was hectic with morning sickness and vomiting after each meals. But then I faced the inferno disguised in happiness. Her moodswings and taste buds were out of my control.

Sometimes she woked up at midnight asking for ice creams or cream buns. Sometimes crying because she was not cooking meals for me anymore. And the worse was when at 2 A:M, I woke up by her crying self as she was missing her parents. I remember crying with her because I didn't knew what to do, so I hold her and kept her company whistle she was crying for continuously one hour straight.

And now here we are after six months of sweet and salty memories, maa finally thought about doing her goodbharai. It was tomorrow and the whole mansion was busy as it was the first time we were going to celebrate a rasam like this.
