It was a fun date. A fantastic date was on the way. Today is something I'll remember with Lollipop for the rest of my life.

The birds were chirping, and the sun was high in the sky, greeting everyone who passed by. I was already in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for myself.

The tiredness was slowly draining away from my body, and I would stumble over as if I were drunk in the morning.

I assumed I had no plans for the day and could relax as usual. I was lounging on my couch, watching TV, or doing anything I wanted. There was a ding before I fell asleep on the couch.

It rang on my phone. Did I receive a message, or was it one of my apps inviting me to use it again?

In either case, it may cause me to stay awake longer and not sleep the rest of the day. Even if it was only for a few minutes or seconds, I'd say I did my hardest to stay awake for the rest of the day.

The brightness of my lock screen was far too high, making me wince and causing a light burn to my eyes. In all honesty, though, it was worthwhile. Lollipop is my favorite person and the girl I'm in love with contacted me to ask me out.

And neither was it a date at a posh restaurant or a sun-dappled kiss. It involved getting smoothies, ice cream, or other treats before visiting a fair.

Naturally, I responded in the affirmative because doing so could encourage me to leave home and spend some time in the sun. The opportunity to see my darling partner more frequently may result from this.

I prepared myself, trying to at least look presentable. then proceeded to leave. Just contemplating spending time with Lollipop makes my heart race with excitement and joy.

"Oh, Y/n! Good to see you, How are you doing, dear?" Lollipop enquired while she waited for me outside in front of the ice cream parlor, smoothie stand, etc. "I'm doing fine, how about you?" I enquired while attempting to contain my enthusiasm and just unexpectedly hugged Lollipop.

Though it was difficult to admit, it was pleasant to act in this way. similar to being on cloud nine.

Lollipop retorted in the positive. I swiftly grasped her hand as she extended it toward mine, being careful not to grab it too firmly or risk accidentally hitting her hand. Then the date had now started...

Love is an amazing quality that gives you a sense of self-worth, but sometimes people don't need it since they have themselves to love.
