SUMMARY:
3 Days. It has been entirely a full 3 days since Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy had spoken.
The pair had been broken up 3 days prior because of Albus' fathers belief that Scorpius is a dark cloud upon his son's life. Harry was given this information from a centaur in the forbidden forest named Bane, and Harry was quick to assume that Scorpius was this "dark cloud." Though, if Harry really listened to his son for once he would find that he rambles very often about him. Albus always tries to tell his father how much Scorpius means to him, but Harry never seems to have time to open his ears and listen. He is either far to busy or just doesn't care.
Albus has given up trying to talk to his father. Their relationship had gone hill from the first time Albus had ever told Harry about his new friend who was in fact a Malfoy. Harry banished the idea of the pair even being friends. After the boys had been very close friends for three years now, currently in their 4th year in Hogwarts, Harry put a stop to their friendship once and for all by ordering Mrs. McGonagall to watch over the two on the Marauders Map. She refused to help at first but Harry send threats to her position at Hogwarts.
On top of that, Harry had also sent out many "spies" to watch over the boys to make sure they don't speak during their time at Hogwarts. Now entering their forth year, Scorpius and Albus have to figure out how to live without each other.

Albus Severus Potter woke up with a train of sweat trickling down his back. His heart was racing like it were to explode and his stomach was knotted. He can't recall what his dream was about, but he's certain that it wasn't good because of the condition in which his previously awoken body's state was in.
His body kept him down and Albus didn't even try and pull himself up. He was so down and he didn't know why. His whole body continued aching as he was laying staring at the ceiling of his dormitory,
He watched the way the paint slightly changed colors as if the paint bucket had ran out of the first color. He watched fascinated. He liked the way the colors faded into each other making it look ambre. He was seriously not okay if he found fascination in paint drying, he smirked at the thought. Pretty embarrassing Albus he thought to himself. He smiled until he was ready to pull himself out of his bed. Gee I gotta tell Scorpius about my new love for paint I suppose. Weird. He thought once more, as he turned his head to face his best friend's bed.
He watched the empty bed, and finally remembered why he was sad when he awoke. His heart sank as he watched the untouched blanket sitting restfully. He hadn't even realized how long he was staring until a voice interrupted his train of thought.
"Wow. That is just sad."
The voice caused Albus to slightly jump as he turned his head in the direction of the unknown voice. He saw that it was his roommate Lj, watching him thoughtfully. He embarrassingly forced a smile at the boy. Lj was a very nice, tall dark boy who had always been kind to both Albus and Scorpius. They had become pretty good friends throughout the years and Albus grew very fond of him, but as of right now Lj was the last person Albus cared to see.
"Gee you really scared me there Lj," Albus finally replied after slightly zoning out for a bit.
Lj smiled towards him, as he finally realized how upset Albus had been since the departure of Scorpius. He knew the two had been close but not that close.
"Missing your friend?" Lj sweetly asked.
Albus shrugged unable to figure out how to respond. He didn't really think he had to tell Lj anything if he didn't want to, that's what his journal was for. Ah his journal. Albus loved his beaten blue journal, which he kept underneath his pillow. He often wrote about his day, just a simple summary. But these past few days hes been wrecking the pages with tears and scribbles. He missed Scorpius so much not even words could describe it. But he still tried to write, for Scorpius.
Lj took another step closer to offer reassurance. He watched the way Albus ruffled his pillow which was laying ontop of his hidden journal. Lj smirked at this jesture, he knew all about Albus' precious journal. He also knew what the pages contained, its not something he was proud of though. But, when Albus is sound asleep or lingering around the castle he sneaks his hand underneath Albus' pillow to cure his winter boredom.
He felt bad but it was addicting to read all about the juicy secrets which Albus poorly tried to hide. Weirdly, Scorpius also had his very own journal. His was a little more expensive with a dark green hard cover, and a gold spine. The golden spine gave its secret spot away as the glare from the sun hit Lj in the eyes about two months before.
He loved how the two boys unknowingly had secret little diarys where they wrote of each other. Scorpius went into more depth about Albus, though. More into his love and how much their friendship mean't the world to him. It was cute. A little weird to Lj but he learned to get used to it. "Well, I'm gonna head down to breakfast, Lj," Albus suddenly said trailing down the staircase.
"You do that," Lj said offering a sweet smile. He was planning on sneaking into the juicy journal once more until he remembered the date. "Remember Hogsmeade today. It'll be fun."
Albus nodded to himself but didnt feel like replying to Lj, and just continued walking down the steps with his head down. He passed Scorpius' new dormitory but knew best not to knock to invite him to breakfast. He knew better.
Lj watched until Albus was finally at the bottom of the steps. Now, he thought. What is Albus Severus Potter hiding today.
