Once again, someone in person asked me to give a brief definition of what PTSD means.
Post- Meaning after
Traumatic- Meaning a negative experience. Often life changing, anxiety inducing, or emotionally/mentally/physically scarring.
Stress-Bodily or mental tension; anxieties, fears, angers, etc.
Disorder-A condition of one's mental, emotional or physical state.
