"I don't deserve this, you look perfect tonight"
The last words of the song that Ethan had sang just for her to hear in a room full of people, before he had kissed her lovingly...
The feeling that went beyond euphoria, if there was even a word for it, was exactly what Blue felt in that moment as she melted fully into her husband's kiss.
They pulled away after a long moment, their foreheads still connected to one another's as they caught their breaths, finally hearing the cheers from their friends and family for them.
"And I thought you didn't know this song, Dr. Ramsey?" Blue teased him, though breathlessly as his kiss had her reeling a little. Ethan chuckled, brushing his nose with hers affectionately.
"All those late night dance lessons with you seem to have had an influence." he quipped back, making her chuckle as they kissed once more, absorbing in the feeling of one another before turning to Angela to give her a nod, ready to share their celebration with the rest of their loved ones as well.
"And with that, the dance floor is officially now open! Ladies and gentlemen, dance the night away!"
The loud ring of cheers and enthusiastic hoots filled the air again as Angela gave out the announcement, a flurry of guests making their way over to the dance floor to join the newly wedded couple.
Blue laughed as her friends joined them in all their extra high spirits, being the life of the party like they always were.
"That was the most beautiful first dance I have seen in my life!" Sienna exclaimed to Blue and Ethan.
"Well, we had plenty of practice." Blue replied as she glanced back at Ethan with a smile.
"I thought you would trip over Blue's dress, but damn, you're a pretty good dancer., Ethan." Rafael added, poking fun at Ethan good naturedly.
"He's a better dancer than me, he just likes to hide his skills." Blue teased further as Ethan rolled his eyes with a shake of his head, watching as the music picked up once more, everyone around them dancing harder.
"Well, my skills would like to go back to being hidden, I think I have danced enough for one night." he said, trying to escape from the dance floor, but all of then blocked him immediately.
"No way!" Bryce exclaimed with a laugh as he pushed Ethan gently back into the crowd. "We're not letting you off tonight, you're the groom!"
"Exactly, you're not stepping off this dance floor without busting actual moves, Ramsey!" Jackie joined in.
"And your dance with Blue, doesn't count!" Kyra chimed in.
"Dear Lord, I'm not getting out of this, am I?" Ethan pinched the bridge of his nose as he turned to his wife who was grinning at him with amusement.
"I'm afraid not, babe." Blue laughed, leaning up to press her lips coaxingly against his jaw, before moving to his ear, "Please? I'll make it up to you later."
That seemed to elicit a pleasant shiver from Ethan as he looked down at Blue, emeralds expectant yet sultry at the same time, alluding to her promise for later. Besides, it was their wedding, and he wanted his wife as well as himself to enjoy their reception to the fullest.
