Marry Me
"Will you..."

"Flight AA 747 to Miami departs in 15 minutes. Passengers please start boarding."
The announcement rang throughout the terminal of Boston Logan International Airport.
Blue and Ethan approached the boarding gate, all excited for their trip. Blue had been shocked to learn that Ethan had cleared off all their schedules for the next three days with Naveen, and Tobias was more than happy to take over as lead temporarily and manage the extra work load with Harper as well. She was grateful as the both of them definitely needed the break, and what better way than to do that in a city known for its tropical beaches and sunshine, a stark contrast to cold Boston.
"At least this time we got here early." Ethan told her as they settled down in their respective seats. "I still remember that I was going to board without you when we first flew to Miami."
"Oh please." Blue rolled her eyes playfully. "As if you would. Like I said that day, you're all just talk, Dr. Ramsey." she teased.
Ethan shook his head with a chuckle, taking her hand in his and intertwined their fingers. It was crazy how three years ago, there had been quite a distance between them as they sat and chatted on their flight to Miami. The both of them were fighting back their feelings for each other at that point of time, and their self-control was being tested immensely over being in close proximity with each other, far away from their responsibilities in Edenbrook.
However, here they were now, Blue's head resting on Ethan's shoulder, snuggling close as they traded occasional kisses. This time they were not hiding anything for each other, and they had gone through hell and back with each other, and he was moments away from making her his for the rest of his life. There was nothing more rewarding for Ethan in life than this.
Ethan looked down at their joined hands as Blue dozed off on his shoulder, his mind imagining how the pink morganite would look on her ring finger, and his heart fluttered at the thought. The ring box was in his hand carry as he did not trust it to be not tossed about if he had placed it in his luggage. He had double checked that it was in his bag at least ten times before boarding, and thankfully Blue had not noticed it.
It was definitely nerve-wrecking for him, but he made it a point to enjoy their rare time off together in the best way. It was going to be close to a four flight, and Ethan leaned back in his seat, pulling Blue closer to him and shut his eyes for a little.
He definitely was going to need some rest if he was going to do this...

The salty, floating breeze of Miami coast hit the couple instantly as they got off the cab that took them from the airport to their hotel.
The sky was cloudless and painted in a cerulean blue shade, rolling turquoise-blue waves crashing into each other at the beach which was right next to the hotel.
The hotel was nothing short of celestial, living up to its name, Celestial Miami, its exterior displaying shiny off-white walls with gold detailing, along with guests and tourists streaming in and out.
"It honestly feels like Deja Vu." Blue said as she turned to Ethan, the warm breeze sifting through his chocolate brown locks like it had three years back. He was beautiful to her then, and he is beautiful to her now, even more so than before. "It was nice of you to book the same hotel for us again. It's like a trip down memory lane."
