Wildest Dreams
"I just want the moment to be perfect when it happens..."
_____________________________________The morning started off early at the apartment at Back Bay, the house filled with the soft lulls of Charles Rivers' waves, distant honks and buzzing of Boston's traffic below, and the rushing of two people, and their fluffy companion as they hustled around the apartment.
"If you would have just gotten up a little earlier, we could have fit in a quick walk with Jenner." Ethan's baritone sounded from the kitchen, where he was trying to feed Jenner while Blue got ready in their bedroom. "Now he's grumpy and doesn't want to eat."
"Geez, I wonder where he got that from." Blue sassed as she walked into the kitchen, all dressed for work in a cream side knot, bodycon dress. Ethan's aquamarines immediately softened at the sight of her, and he could not even bring himself to respond to her side of their morning banter. Blue seemed to notice as she lowered her voice a little as she neared him. "Besides, you weren't exactly grumpy about staying in bed a little longer either, Dr. Ramsey..."
She trailed her fingers along his chest, taking a hold of his tie, tightening and fixing it for him. Ethan felt his breath hitch for a moment, as she leaned in slightly, her breath ghosting his lips for a split-moment before she pulled away like the tease she was, making Ethan let out the breath he was holding before rolling his eyes when she laughed.
"You're too easy, babe." she chuckled, bending down to ruffle Jenner's fur, who soon became excited once again with the load of affection, and began to eat his food.
"Not my fault that you're a menace." Ethan mumbled, his lips threatening to curl into a smile when he saw how Jenner's mood turned completely around upon getting his fair share of Blue's attention. He checked his watch before squatting down to scratch the pup's fur as well. "We should get going if we want to catch the T, have breakfast and be on time for work." he told Blue.
Ethan had sent his car for servicing, and with much persuasion from Blue, agreed to take the T together instead of calling for an uber. If it was not for the fact that it meant spending more time with his girlfriend in the morning before work, he would have not agreed to it, not with the T always brimming with Boston's crowd.
"Alright." Blue smiled, pressing a kiss to the top of Jenner's head before grabbing her things. Ensuring that the pup had all the things he needed while they were gone, Blue and Ethan left for work.

Despite the fact that it was early in the morning, Back Bay was still bustling with people as Blue and Ethan walked through the Copley Square farmers market to get to the T.
While Blue enjoyed the scene, Ethan was completely unfamiliar to it.
"What in the world would people need to buy this early in the morning for?" Ethan asked as they walked towards the market.
"It's the season for certain fruits and vegetables. Of course people would want to get a hold of them before work." Blue answered, chuckling as she looked up to see Ethan's bewildered expression. "How have you lived here for years and not come across a farmer's market."
"Need I remind you that the last time I took the T was almost seven years back." Ethan countered. Blue chuckled again, taking a glance at her watch.
"Well we have some time to kill, let me give you the experience of us, plebs." she said, and before Ethan could protest to any of it, she had tightened her grip on his hand and pulled him into the entrance of the market.
