Couple of days had passed since Melody and i moved to stay with Grandma , her house was very luxurious and beautiful

I asked grandma how she could buy such a house in a country she barely visits it , and she said it was only for me

If only she was always this nice

Melody and i had our own rooms , the house had its own two maids and guards everywhere . I also had taken a break from work , I didn't want anything to distract me from protecting my little girl and wait for Chase to come back

Melody on the other hand was very happy to stay in this house , there was a pool outside where Melody swam all the time . She did feel lonely though , there was no one to keep her company except for me and grandmother , and she missed Chase , a lot , she always asked me when was he gonna come back

I always managed to convince her that he would be back sooner or later

As for me , I wasn't feeling well lately, i got dizzy a lot , nauseous all the time , at first i thought i was just sick , probably food poisoning , grandma
did serve us some weird meals

As i was entering the house and heading to my room , holding in my hand a pregnancy test , grandmother called me to sit with her in the living room

I hid the test box in my bag and went to her
;" hey , what is it ?" I asked her as i sat on the sofa ;" there's a party this Saturday and-" she started before i cut her off ;" eekh you know what , I'm really tired of those , we never get a break , i think I'll pass this one I don't feel well anyway " i told her as i got up , only for her to tell me to sit down again , and i did

" you're gonna want to attend this one darling trust me " she said and i looked at her strangely
;" why?" I asked her and she shrugged  ;" just saying , it's an anniversary of one of my companies , we're throwing the ceremony in a hotel , plus you do need a break from all the stress you've been living lately " she explained and i sighed , i knew i wasn't gonna escape this one either

" fine , but Melody's coming too , I won't leave her behind " i insisted ; " couldn't agree more" she said and i smiled at her as i got up and walked away

When i reached my room , i laid on the bed , i was too tired to take the test , Melody was also in her room playing with all the toys and games grandmother bought her

I received a text from Cassy , saying she was done from work and wished for us to go out , I thought about it for a second , it has been a while since the last time Cassy and i got out together, and i needed a new dress for the Saturday's party anyway

I quickly got over my fatigue and texted her back , saying I'll be ready in thirty minutes and i would come pick her up . I got up , took a shower and totally forgot about the pregnancy test , and to be honest , it was because I wasn't ready to take it yet

After showering i picked up my outfit and wore it

I said goodbye to Melody and told her to behave with grandma , as for Josephine , she insisted that i take a driver with me , who was also an assassin , for protection of course , and after everything i had experienced , I couldn't disapprove with her

I gave the driver Cassy's address and he drove there, i called her and she got out as she joined me ; " coming with your own driver now , being rich really suits you" she said and i grinned at her ;" yeah well , I'm too tired to drive actually" i told her and she smirked ;" sure you are"

We entered every clothes shop our eyes landed on in London , trying to find the perfect dresses for us and we did , i also invited Cassy over to that party , grandma wouldn't have a problem with that

After we were done shopping , we stopped by a restaurant to have lunch . As we were talking , Cassy noticed someone behind me , and i wished if she hadn't ;" Eda , is that Harold behind you?" My eyes widened as i turned around and spotted him leaning on his car , trying not to look at me but i know he did,  and i know that he knew i saw him

I gulped and swallowed my last bite before getting up and walking towards him ;" I'll be right back " i told Cassy and she said ;" invite him over!" I ignored her

" what are you doing here ?" I asked as i faced him with my arms crossed , and my back facing Cassy , I didn't tell her that Harold was a secret spy yet

" i need to tell you something " he said ;" I don't wanna hear anymore lies from you anymore" i blurted out , annoyed and angry ;" it concerns Chase , Eda" he said and i looked at him sternly
;" the FBI , and my agency , they have sent more agents and spies to capture him , and get leads against him to put him and his family in prison , I thought you might wanna know that " he stated

I ran my hands in hair and face , I didn't even have a way to contact him and warn him ;" why did you tell me this?" I asked him and he sighed ;" because i care about you , and I don't want you to get hurt , also this wasn't the only reason why i came , I'm here to protect you , after what happened that night i-" he said before I interrupted him

" Thanks but , there are already people for that" i said as i pointed my eyes at my car , and the driver standing next to it ;" plus you can't follow me around , it makes it ever harder for me to trust you " i said and he nodded ;" I understand, you have every right to , please be careful , and call me , if you needed anything " he said and i nodded at him

He smiled a little before patting my arm and getting in his car and drive away . I watched him as he left and went back to Cassy

" what was that about?" She asked ;" nothing just stuff about the hospital " I answered before i asked her to finish our lunch quickly so we could go back

After I dropped Cassy at her house , i went back to the mansion , and found grandma and Melody hanging out together in the living room . I smiled as I greeted them and Melody came and hugged me , she asked me to come and play with her a little bit and I agreed, but after i get changed

When i headed to my room and got changed , i felt an incredible nausea all of a sudden, i headed directly to the bathroom and threw up immediately , that's when i knew that i had to take the pregnancy test

And as expected , two lines , positive , i was pregnant
