C H A S E
I hated this place already , everything was like so pink and bright colored . I was in my rented car driving back to the hotel , i woke up early in the morning and went out for a ride
Driving through the hotel's garden, i spotted a little girl in the middle of the road , which startled me a little cause I wasn't paying attention
I immediately stopped the car and she didn't stumble , tough girl , for a kid , she said something with her mouth but i wasn't able to hear her cause the windows were closed
I pulled down the window and took out my head ; " what ?" I asked ; " watch the road mister " she said and i narrowed my eyes at her
No kid had ever spoken to me like that , not that i spoke to kids a lot
" fine , could you move out of the way ?" I let her rude talk slide away and politely asked her , but she shrugged and shook her head ; " i was here first " she simply said before sitting on the ground again , crossing her legs and reading a book , her back facing me
That's why i hated kids
" excuse me kid , you can't stay there , there are cars around " i said one more time and she didn't answer , I started to lose it , i had no patience for children and their annoying attitude
" where are your parents?" I asked again ; " my mother and my aunt are in the hotel " she answered without looking at me
" look kid , I'm not gonna say this again , get off the road or I'm gonna hit you with my car " I threatened her
I was lying of course , i just said that to frighten her , which didn't work
" then you'll go to prison for killing me " she said again , flipping a page of her book , i sighed rolling my eyes . I took off my seat belt and got out of the car and went to stand right in front of her
She didn't look up , which annoyed me . I held her from her waist to put her away but she started screaming ; " help help he's kidnapping me !" She yelled and i tried to stop her ; " calm down "
I said as i held her and put her down on the sidewalk , she pushed me away and stick out her tongue at me like an immature child
I shook my head as I ignored her and went back to my car , once I entered and was about to put on the seat belt , she showed up in front of me again , her both hands on my car , glaring at me
" you're an evil man " she announced loudly , i sighed as i leaned back my head ; " damn it " i said , suddenly i heard the car's door clicking , i turned around to find the little girl getting in
" what are you doing ?" I asked narrowing my eyebrows ; " you're going to the hotel right ? Take me there and I won't tell my mother about you being mean with me " she stated
I looked at her confused; " didn't your mother teach you not to get on cars with strangers?" I questioned; " i can protect myself " she simply said with a grin
" look , I'm gonna count to three , i want you out of the car by then " i stated , not believing myself that I was talking like that with a little girl
" 1 ....2...3" i counted slowly waiting for her to get out but she wouldn't move . I sighed again and started the car ; " what's your name ?" I asked
" melody " she replied as she put on her seat belt
It was a beautiful name though
The ride back to the hotel wasn't long , but it definitely felt long with the naughty vixen sitting next to me , she wouldn't stop touching the radio and changing the music , she literally drove me insane
