It's been four days since i came in here , and every morning , i don't find Chase by my side , he had been so busy lately that i only see him in the after noon or at night

When i woke up and walked downstairs , i found Melody already having breakfast with Lillian
;" good morning mommy!" Melody said to me and i kissed her on the cheek ; " morning sweetie" ;" lady Lillian " Then i greeted Chase's mother

" please , just call me Lillian , Eda we are past through that , have a seat , i had them prepare breakfast for you" she said nicely and i smiled at her as i sat next to Melody ; " how are you finding the stay in here so far ?" Lillian suddenly spoke as i was taking bites from the eggs ; " it feels ... safe " i spilled out , nervously

" and you Melody do you like your room ? I tried my best decorating it to your taste " She told Melody ; " I love everything grandma , this house is awesome " Melody exclaimed with a grin

" have you seen Chase today?" I asked , taking a sip from my orange juice ; " he and the others drove to one of the warehouses , they are probably planning there " she stated and i hummed

As we were having our breakfast , i heard footsteps coming towards us , i looked up and saw Chase walking to us ; " Daddy!" Melody jumped out of her seat and went to him . He hugged her and held her off of the ground

" hey little girl , what have you been up to?" Chase asked as he kissed her cheek ;" I missed you , you're so busy" Melody told him and he chuckled ; " sorry little one , but daddy has had a lot of work lately , but guess what , i have a little surprise for you" he said and her face changed ; " what is it ?"

Chase didn't answer , instead he whistled and a dog appeared from nowhere , it came running towards us , I recognized it , Miles ;" i hope you like dogs " He asked Melody and she laughed as she tried to let go of him ; " who doesn't?" She began playing with Miles

Then Chase greeted his mother before coming to me ;" is that Miles , Where was he all this time?" I asked and he kissed my cheek ;" the vet" he answered ;" again ? " i asked and he shrugged
;" yeah he's getting old " he answered ;" how's work ? Any progress in what you want to do ?" I asked him again and he looked down , kinda frustrated

"We're still on a long road , i actually came  back here cause i wanted to see you and Melody, i still have a lot to do , come , let's go to my office " he suggested and I accepted

" Melody we're gonna be right back , behave yourself " i patted her head and Miles before following Chase to his office

He opened the door for me as i entered , he closed it and walked behind me ;" how's the baby?" He asked as went to his desk and took his seat ;" he's fine , i guess" i told him ;" why are you so sure it's a boy , personally I'd be happy if it is a girl again " he stated and i narrowed my eyes

" really ? Why is that ?" I asked and he shrugged ;" no reason " he answered ;" do you have any names on your mind ? For the baby " i asked as i walked towards the desk and stood in front of him

" surprisingly , yes i do " he answered ;" mind if i ask?" I said and he smiled ;" well if it's a girl , Aurora , if it's a boy , Enzo " he stated and i let out a sarcastic chuckle ; " what?" He asked

" you must be hating on our baby boy , Enzo ?
are we having a vampire ?" I said as I adjusted his hair a little , he grabbed my hand and made me sit on his lap ;" i told you i rather have a girl again " he said as his hands sneaked under my home dress and caressed my thighs ;" why ?" I asked teasingly

" because i don't like the idea of someone else sucking on those beautiful nipples " he stated as he unbuttoned the buttons of my dress and undid my bra as well ;" it's your son Chase " i told him and he shrugged ;" so ? He's still a man " He mumbled against my chest and began planting kisses on my chest
