I woke up in the next morning very early , i washed my face and put on some sport clothes and went out for a run , Miles followed me around

I spent almost two hours jogging before i went back home , everyone was still asleep except for Melody , I caught her sneaking around in the kitchen , getting sweets and candy from the refrigerator and the kitchen's closets

Eda wouldn't let her have them all the time

" please don't tell mommy" she mumbled while holding bunch of cookies and cupcakes, i smiled at her as i put my finger on my mouth , meaning i'd keep her secret ;" thank you daddy " she said and i winked at her , i went and joined her on the table , eating her cookies and drinking her juice

" you know your mommy is a doctor , you should know what's bad for your health " i spoke as i rested my head on my hand and watched my daughter; " i do , i just like to break rules " she stated and i chuckled

Yup that's definitely Eda's daughter and mine

Speak of sweets , Milo kept bothering me so i decided to give him food of his own , he and Melody got along very well , like mother like daughter

After Melody had finished her sweets , she went back to her room and turned on her TV , i glanced at her one last time before heading back to my room , Eda was also still asleep and i didn't want to wake her . I entered the bathroom and stripped out of my clothes

I prepared the bathtub and got in , i laid my head and closed my eyes , but I opened them again when the door bursted open and Eda appeared , wearing only panties and a white top that showed her nipples

I smiled at her and she smiled back as she approached me ;" morning " i said to her and she said back ;" you were up early " she said and i nodded ;" i went out for a fresh air " She sat on the edge of the tub , right in front of me

"I could've joined you " she suggested and i hummed at her with a soft smile , telling her i'll do that next time ;" so what are you planning to do with Matteo ?" She suddenly asked as she played with the water

" we rest , for now , we were attacked and fouled yesterday we need to concentrate on what's coming next " i told her and she shrugged ;" it's just every time you decide to rest something bad happens and they take advantage of your resting and plan making " she said , with a look of concern on her face

" this is how mafia wars work , Eda , it's not fighting and shooting all the time , it's been like this with Bianca for seven years and look , I'm still alive " i said , trying to lighten up the mood

" Eekh don't bring her up i'm still pissed , and i still think we shouldn't trust her " she said , annoyed again ;" Eda please , the last thing i need right now is inside conflicts between the members , when we're done with Matteo , she will leave and never show us her face again " i assured her

" she kissed you " she raised her eyebrow and i narrowed my eyes ;" how did yo-" i asked and she interrupted; " Valerie told me , and I understand that she made the move as a distraction and you didn't like it , but still , I didn't like it either" she stated again and i smirked as i leaned back on the wall behind me

" are you jealous?" I teased her , and she was no longer angry i'm sure ; " me ? Jealous of her ? Please " she mocked and i repeated my question ;" be honest , love " she looked at me and leaned down to my level ; " no I'm actually mad " ; " why ?" I asked ; " she touched what's mine " she brushed her nose against mine as her eyes focused on my lips

Without warning I swiped her off the tub and shoved her inside with me , which caused the water to spill all over the floor ;" Chase ! No I'm wearing clothes !" She protested in her so-called annoyed angry tone but i knew she liked it ;" then take them off " i said to her and she laughed , as she stripped out of them
