HARPER

Adding on my anxiety, two months later, Damon sent a letter directly for me.

"YOU CAN'T PROTECT HER FOREVER HARPER! I WILL HAVE HER, IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO! OH, AND PLEASE GIVE THESE TO KYE."

My heart sinks as I realize what this means. He has been spying on Krystal and taking these pictures without her consent. As her friend, I feel violated just looking at them and I cannot even imagine how she would feel if she knew.

I quickly gathered the photos and put them in an envelope. I am determined to find out him for this invasion of privacy and make sure they face the consequences of their actions.

Feeling angry and disgusted, I place the envelope in my bag and head out to tell Kye. No one deserves to have their privacy violated in this way, and I will do everything in my power to make sure justice is served.

Thankfully it's my day off today, which had given me plenty of time to head towards our headquarters. I practically ran towards Kye's office not minding who he's talking to. I ordered them to leave before locking the door behind me. I throw the letter and photos in Kye's table before pacing back and forth infront of him.

Kye's expression immediately turned serious as he picked up the letter and started reading. His jaw tightened as he flipped through the photos.

"What the hell is this?!" Kye shouted, his anger and frustration palpable in his voice.

"Whoever did this is in big trouble," Kye said, his voice low and grave. Looking at his girlfriend's naked photos, he gritted his teeth in anger.

"It's Damon," I said. "He hacked into our cameras and took photos of Krystal."

Kye shook his head. "This is a serious breach of privacy and I won't take it lightly. I promise you that we will find him."

I nodded, feeling a little bit of relief at his words. I trusted Kye and knew that he would do everything in his power to find the Damon.

"I messed up!" I said worriedly.

"I wasn't planning on telling you this but Damon had already found our place four months ago. He had sent a bunch of letters but before it even received by Krystal, I burned everything." I said looking down which made Kye stood up in anger.

"What?" He said yelling at me.

"I'm sorry, I should've told you but I thought I can handle it and I had already put a lot of our spies to watch over us but it's not enough. I'm so sorry." I pleaded while still looking down, not daring to look at him.

Kye took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "It's okay, I understand why you did it. But we can't ignore this anymore. Whoever is behind this is getting bolder and we need to stop them before it's too late."

He walked over to me and placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "We have to find Damon, fast!."

I nodded, feeling the weight of the situation heavy on my shoulders. "Yes, but we have to be careful. We don't want to put Krystal in danger."

Kye agreed and we quickly formulated a plan to find Damon fast and to protect Krystal at the same time. We knew it wouldn't be easy, but we were prepared to do whatever it takes to keep her safe and find the person behind all this.

Eventually, I managed to persuade Krystal to examine the three living options that Kye had selected for us. Additionally, he selected a more favorable location for our headquarters that is close to the aforementioned options.

We have moved from Sydney to Melbourne, Australia. Krystal and I chose the house by the renowned architect Pete Kennon during our stay in Melbourne, Australia. The house had undergone a complete refurbishment by its owner prior to being put up for sale, and fortunately, Kye managed to secure it for us.

It's already been a week and Melbourne has been treating us well so far. We've been busy exploring the city and getting settled into our new home. One of our favorite things about Melbourne is the art and culture scene. We've visited some amazing galleries and museums, and even attended a ballet performance at the iconic Princess Theatre.

Krystal has adapted well to her recent job relocation and so have I. Although I am a full-time member of our gang as an assassin, I am also a full-time medical technician, and the move was a relief as I was getting frustrated with my former colleagues at the hospital. Currently, I work at a nearby small clinic that is conveniently situated close to both our headquarters and home.

Kye has been busy with work, setting up our new headquarters and ensuring our operations are running smoothly. We're excited to see the growth of our business in Melbourne and the new opportunities this city has to offer.

As we continue to settle in, we enjoy the friendly vibes of our new neighborhood and the beautiful architecture of the surrounding buildings. We look forward to building a community here and making Melbourne our new home.

I was going to enter the house when I saw Kye, looking directly at Krystal. I walked near him and elbowed his right side. His reaction made me laugh that caught Krystal's attention. "Great!" I heard Kye whispered which made me laugh more.

"What's so funny?" Krystal asked, looking confused.

"Oh, nothing," I said, trying to stifle my laughter. "Just Kaleb being silly."

Mouthing the name I made up, Kye quickly composed himself and put on a professional demeanor. "Good afternoon, ma'am. I'm here to deliver the new sofa," he said, gesturing towards the large item in the moving truck.

Krystal looked impressed. "Wow, that's a big couch! Do you need any help bringing it in?"

"No, ma'am, that won't be necessary. We've got it under control," Kye replied with a smile.

As Kye and his men moved the couch into the house, I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of Kye in a furniture mover disguise. The whole situation was just too silly.

I chuckled and shrugged my shoulders, "Alright, alright. I'll leave him alone now."

As Kye finished moving the couch into the living room, he discreetly gave me a thumbs up and mouthed "Thanks" before leaving with his men. I couldn't help but smile at how smoothly our plan had gone.

Krystal turned to me and asked, "What was that all about, anyways?"

I just grinned and shook my head. "Just some harmless teasing, Krystal. You know me."

Krystal laughed and shook her head, "You're lucky I love you."

I smiled and hugged Krystal, "I know, and I love you too."

We both laughed and went back to setting up the new couch, completely oblivious to the fact that Kye and I, as his accomplice had just successfully completed his mission to see Krystal up close, again.

These two are so lucky they have me in their lives. I thought to myself while assisting Krystal in beautifying our new home. Krystal's expertise as an Interior Designer shines through while I simply go along with her plan. I smiled at the thought.
