It has been a few days since my encounter with Damon, and the experience still seems odd to me. Until then, I had never taken much notice of him and never expected him to develop romantic feelings for me. However, his observations about my excessive involvement with my boyfriend, Kye, were on point. As a result, I often pay more attention to Kye and less to other guys. However, Damon's behavior and communication style make me uncomfortable. I don't know how he got my phone number, but he started sending me text messages after only a few days.

I have been neglecting to respond to his messages, which can occasionally provoke his frustration; however, I am indifferent to the matter.

As I waited for the pizza to arrive, I started to worry about Harper. She had been working long hours at the clinic lately and I hoped she wasn't overworking herself. Just then, I received a text from her.

"Sorry I couldn't let you know earlier. I got caught up with a lot of patients today. Don't wait for me, I'll be home soon. Love you."

Relieved that she was okay and grateful for her thoughtfulness, I settled in to wait for her.

I then hopped into the shower before the delivery arrived. After taking a shower and wrapping my body in a towel, the doorbell rang in continuous times. I rolled my eyes at my annoyance and not bothering to change into my clothes because of it. As I opened the door, I was greeted by a creepy man holding the pizza box I ordered. When he lifted his head, there I saw Damon smiling as he walked inside the house holding my order. I backed away from him feeling scared.

"Whoa, whoa, what's wrong?" Damon asked, noticing my sudden change in demeanor.

"What are you doing here? And why are you dressed like a pizza delivery guy?" I demanded, my heart racing.

Damon chuckled, taking off his pizza delivery hat. "Relax, it's just me. I thought it would be a fun surprise to deliver the pizza myself instead of having it delivered by a stranger."

I let out a sigh of relief, feeling silly for my initial fear. "You scared me. I wasn't expecting to see you dressed like that."

Damon grinned. "Sorry about that. I thought it would be a funny prank. Besides, it's just us here. No harm, no foul."

I laughed awkwardly and took the pizza from his hands and I carefully put it on the kitchen counter. As I was about to turn around, I was shocked at how close Damon was to me. He then smiled and took something out of his pocket and all of a sudden I felt dizzy.

I stumbled back, feeling disoriented and confused. I reached out to grab onto something for support and ended up grabbing Damon's arm. As I did, I realized that he was holding a cloth in his hand and it had a strong, pungent odor. My vision started to blur and my head began to spin.

"Damon...what...what did you do?" I managed to get out, before everything went black.

The next thing I remember, I was lying on the couch, with Damon sitting next to me, holding my hand. As I tried to piece together what had happened, I noticed that I wasn't in my house. The place was unfamiliar and that I was feeling groggy and weak.

"Damon, what's going on?" I asked, my voice shaking.

Damon's face softened, but there was something sinister in his eyes. "I needed to talk to you, and this was the only way to get you to listen, Krystal. You're always so busy, so preoccupied with work and your friends. You never have time for me."

My fear escalated as I realized what he was implying. "Damon, what are you talking about? What did you do to me?"

Damon's expression twisted into one of anger. "I had to do something to get your attention, Krystal. And now that I have it, I won't let anything or anyone come between us."

The terror inside me grew as his words sunk in. I knew that I had to escape before something worse happened. I mustered all the courage I had and broke free from his grip, running towards the door. But before I could open it, I felt his strong hand wrap around my wrist, yanking me back towards him.

"You can't leave, Krystal. We're meant to be together forever. Whether you like it or not."

I tried to scream but he immediately covered my mouth with his hands. Terrified of what he might do to me, I tried to fight back but I was no match with his strength.

I then looked down at my body and noticed that I wasn't dressed in a towel but instead I was dressed with his clothes. I mentally swore myself as I realized that Damon saw my naked body.

Feeling violated and helpless, I struggled to break free from Damon's hold. His grip on my mouth was becoming tighter and I knew I had to act fast before he did something worse.

Summoning all my strength, I kicked him where it hurt the most. He groaned in pain and stumbled backwards, giving me the chance to run for the door.

But just as I was about to reach the door, Damon grabbed me by the arm and yanked me back. I screamed for help as he dragged me back to the bed.

"Shut up!" he yelled. "I'm not going to hurt you. Just listen to me."

I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But then, I remembered the self-defense moves my dad had taught me and I used them to free myself from his grip.

I punched him in the face as hard as I could, making him stumble backwards again. This time, I didn't waste any time and ran for the door as fast as I could. I ran out into the familiar street.

I didn't look back even once until I was safely outside in the street. I was shaking and sobbing with fear and anger, but I was glad to have escaped from Damon's clutches.

But before I even reached further he caught up to me and pulled my hair making me fall backwards. I was so scared and was screaming loudly but no one came to my aid.

As I laid on the ground, fear gripped me like never before. Damon loomed over me, his eyes filled with a menacing gaze. He was closing in, and I knew I had to act fast.

I searched my surroundings for any object I could use as a weapon. My eyes landed on a brick lying on the pavement nearby. Without thinking, I grabbed it and threw it at Damon with all my force, but he caught it.

He then carried me back to his place and started tying my hands on the bedroom frame. I pleaded for him to let me go but he remained silent.

I struggled and fought with all my might, but Damon was too strong for me to break free from his hold. As he tied my hands to the bed frame, I realized how helpless and vulnerable I was.

But I refused to give up. I kept pleading with him to release me, hoping that he would have a change of heart. But Damon remained silent, his eyes glaring down at me.

I knew that I had to keep my wits about me if I was going to stay safe. I tried to use the techniques I had learned in self-defense classes, but my hands were tied too tightly for me to move.

As I lay there, I noticed that Damon's grip on the ropes was starting to loosen slightly. I saw a small opening, and I knew I had to take advantage of it.

With all the strength I had left, I pulled my hands sharply upwards, causing the ropes to loosen even further. My hands were free, and I immediately started to untie the knots.

Damon realized what I was doing and lunged towards me, but I was already on my feet and ran towards the door. I tried to turn the doorknob, but it was locked.

Panic surged through me as I realized that I was trapped. Just then, I heard the sound of sirens in the distance, and my heart filled with hope. I screamed for help as loud as I could.

The next moment, I heard the sound of footsteps running towards me. The door burst open, and a familiar face entered the room. Kaellan arrived and upon laying his eyes on me, he smiled menacingly.

I thought I was saved, but I was wrong.
