Jeongin stared at the ceiling of his and his brothers shared room, deep in thoughts. His sibling had drifted off into dreamland long ago but he just wasn't able to do so. He was far too lost in his mind—he didn't even notice his phone repeatedly going off, too worried about the next week.

His class and headroom teach were going on a five-day trip, to explore some old buildings and learn about the history of their country, but that meant leaving behind his baby brother. In the hands of his so called father.

Jeongin was scared of what might happen, so he was looking for excuses not to go. And up until now, saying he's sick or hurt seemed like the best idea.

The raven sighed, finally out of the spiraling storm inside his head, and looked down next to his bed—where his alarm clock was resting neatly.

03:24 am.

Oh what was he doing with his life? School'd start in less than five hours and he hadn't closed an eye, though it looked like, someone else hadn't either.

Tired—and confused—Jeongin reached to grab his phone off the nightstand. He had to squint his eyes closed to read the message he received, as his screen was way too bright to bear.

Why was Seungmin still up?

"Jeongin, lets talk in school tdy, ight?" It read, though the older quickly sent a second message, promising it's nothing bad, after realising how it might've sounded.

The brunette wasn't mad at the younger, no, he was worried. Seungmin may not show it all that much and he may not always act like it but he cares a lot about his friends—Jeongin meaning even more to him.

When he saw the repeating bruises on his torso, arms and upper legs, he was worried sick. What was happening to the poor boy? He needed to know,

he needed to help.

Jeongin stared at his phone, that was resting in his right hand as he ran his fingers through his hair. This sounded bad, did he notice anything?

"I knew I shouldn't have worn that shirt," he thought to himself, already in the mess of his mind again.

These thousands of questions wouldn't let him sleep tonight.

Knowing he finally hit send, Seungmin let out a low sigh as he stood up from his desk. He was up studying up until now but couldn't focus on the physics sheets anymore, after his mind had wandered off for only a mere second.

Because suddenly, the younger was all he could think about. And that damn smile.. god how he loved it. He wished, it would never slip off his pretty lips yet he knew that wasn't possible.

The night passed quickly for both of the boys. Yet for totally different reasons.

The 1.72 meter tall teen walked through the empty hallways of his school, his steps messy and slow as he could barely make out where he was. His hair and clothes drenched from the heavy rain outside.

Everyone had already gone to class, as school had started half an hour ago, but Jeongin, oh boy he was running late– or rather walking? stumbling? thats the word.

Jeongin stumbled his way to class, not fully knowing where he was goung but just hoping for the best. His mind was fussy and body still litered with this ticklish-stinging sensation.
