"Hold still, will you." Hyunjin quietly said, focusing on his boyfriend's face and the paintbrush covered with brown eyeshadow that he held in his hand, careful not to mess up his strokes. The blond boy only whined as he started playing with the taller's sweater. "But it's so boring."

Quickly Hyunjin placed both his hands on the shoulders of the male in front of him, looking the freckled boy in the eyes. "Hold still, alright? I'll hurry." The brunette got back to working as the younger simply nodded, the soft and adorable freckles littering his face turning into the stars of the beautiful night sky.

The younger was sitting on a random chair in the kitchen as the older gently painted his face, adoring his cuteness with every stroke.

The older's lover let a light gasp slip past his lips when Hyunjin cupped his face—with the reasoning to get better access, and not something as silly as wanting to be even closer to the angelic boy—and inched forward. The older's eyes didn't dare to move away from the paintbrush, he knew all too well he wouldn't be able to resist the younger's lips.

Countless of times already had he looked at the other's face and felt the need to touch his soft lips with his own but there was just one big problem, they were idols, famous.

It wasn't the reaction of stays that the male feared, oh no, he knew their fans would support them no matter what, yet the company on the other side. . . he didn't know what they'd do.

All of the members were allowed to date, now that it's been over three years of being a group and active in the industry, but dating another member? That's where things turned south, surely the company wouldn't allow that—and make them keep their distance.

Neither of the two could imagine spending time apart, not sharing a dorm alone was killing them softly.

The artist picked up a bit of eyeshadow with the tip of the brush, softly tickling the blond's face as he continued to decorate his beautiful canvas. "So cute," He cooed after some time, finally looking directly at the blond.

Excited, the younger stood up from the random chair he sat down on, looking up at Hyunjin with doe eyes. "Is it done now?" Not waiting for an answer he waddled his way over to the bathroom, looking in the mirror to find his freckles in new shape. The small stars matched the ones in his eyes.

Gently, he touched his face, admiring his boyfriend's work as the man himself walked in. "Did I do good?" Hyunjin laughed out, seeing the younger staring at his reflection. "It looks really cute, I love it."

Just as the older of the two was about to engage the younger boy in a back hug, the said male turned around and threw his hands over Hwang's shoulders—more or less lazily, resting them on top of each other behind his head. "Let's take photos!" He eagerly voiced out, eyes shining with excitement.

"We should do a heart together." Hyunjin inched his hand closer to the other, hand already forming one-half of the heart. "Sure, wait." The blond quickly put the phone in his other hand and posed with the older, his right hand ready to take a photo while his left awkwardly completed the heart.

The two cutely smiled at the camera as they took some pictures for stays, winking, laughing, pocking their cheek and kissing—though not the camera, but the other.

"Jinnie~" The younger let his arm fall down beside them, quick to react when the older kissed his cheek. "We're taking pictures for stay, we can't post this!" He whined, puffing out his cheeks as he looked at his boyfriend. "But what if I want some pictures for myself?"

The blond shook his head, voicing out a small "Maybe later" before going back to taking photos. It'd be a lie if he said he didn't find it cute, but they didn't have that much time.

Earlier the manager had informed the two of their lack of photos on the group's Instagram account and asked them to upload some. The boys being the boys they are decided to make it extra special and when the older had the idea to give Stay a special painting, the younger had already run off to bring Hyunjin a brush.

The two had already spent way too long, the sun starting to set in the background, but they still only had a handful of postable pictures.

Hyunjin swung his arm over the younger's shoulder—pulling him closer—and pouted. His lover was quick to turn his phone in his direction and click a picture, pleased when he was able to catch his cute expression. "Yah! Delete that~" The older frowned out.

"No way."

"Yah! You two will catch a cold if you don't come inside now!" The leader called out as he saw the two lovebirds out on the balcony at this late hour, the sky already painted a dark blue—stars shattered over the dull colour, hiding behind the clouds, as well as on the blond's cheeks.

"One moment!" The older yelled back, enjoying the warmth of his boyfriend too much to leave just like that, he wanted to treasure the moment just a bit more.

The blond held the taller tightly in his arms, his small hands holding onto his waist, as Hyunjin kissed his cheek. "You're so adorable." "I know," The shorter sheepishly replied, turning his head to plant a short kiss on the older's lips. "And you're so handsome."

The brunette shook his head lightly, before resting it on the shorter's shoulder—hiding away from his responsibilities. "C'mon, we gotta go inside. I don't want you to get sick."

The deep voice echoed in the older's head as he lay in his bed, staring up at the ceiling. Would that be his life as an Idol? He wondered, perhaps he'd find his true love—or just make some close friends—if he ever decided to sign up for the rollercoaster.

Carefully, he stood up from the soft mattress and walked over to his desk to turn on the laptop placed neatly on top—having to watch his steps with the clothes lingering on the floor. His fingertips graced his keyboard, typing in the couple of words it took to get to the JYP Audition sight.

Would he even be any good as an idol? He questioned. God, he questioned so much. Yet what was there to lose, he had already lost everything dear to him and now it was the time to reach out, find a new purpose and new friends in his life.

It was time for a change.
