"Can I stay home today, mommy?"

"No, sweetie, you can't. You have school today."

It had been two weeks and Carol was still getting used to having to go to school. She didn't like it much which I thought was pretty normal. I had been going therapy three days out of the week and I was absolutely loving it. After my session, I would go to the gym to work and GiGi would always be there. I knew Joe would never be unfaithful but I still didn't like that woman. Today, I didn't have a therapy session so I would be going with Joe to the gym immediately after we dropped off Carol at school. Hopefully, GiGi wouldn't stop by today.

I was standing at the desk reading a book when I heard the door open. I put down my book and put on my best smile but that smile vanished when I watched GiGi walk in.

"Oh, hi, remind me of your name again? I'm bad with remembering names."

Really because you didn't seem to forget anything about my husband.

"Evanna. Evanna Anoa'i."

"Right. So, where is Joey?"

"Joey?"

She laughed. "That is just what I call Joe."

She even had nicknames for him?

"Right. Well, he is out right now."

"Really? Why isn't taking care of his gym?"

Why aren't you at your gym taking care of yours?

"Well, it is actually our gym. So, we both take care of it."

"What if someone comes in and needs help with the machines or something? You'll be able to help them?"

And then she looked me up and down. I was about to knock her pearly white, most likely expensive teeth down her throat.

"Yeah, I can. Speaking of gyms, why aren't you at yours?"

"Oh, I left my employee in charge. He is fully capable of taking care of things. I was about to go to lunch with Joe."

They were going to lunch together?

"Oh, when did you make those plans?"

"Oh, we go to lunch together every day. While you are out getting your psychiatric treatments." And then she had the audacity to place her hand on mine. "Don't worry, it will get better."

I pulled my hand away from hers. I made my hand into a fist and was about to punch her in the face when Joe walked in. She was lucky.

"Joey! How are you today?"

She ran over to him and she hugged him. I watched as this woman grabbed him tightly and grabbed his butt. He looked shocked by the sudden interaction and pulled her off of him. I walked around the counter, ready to pull her hair out by the roots.

"Hey, I forgot to tell you. Lunch is canceled today."

"Aw, what? Why?"

"I...have lots of work to do so maybe another time."

He walked her out before I could get a hold on her. The doors closed and Joe walked back in.

"Does she usually touch you like that while I'm gone?"

"What? No. That would be a first."

"And why are you going to lunch with that woman?"

"I'm being friendly."

"Oh, I can tell. She was sure getting really friendly with you."

"Evanna, do you think I'm cheating on you?"

"...No. But I don't like you hanging around with that woman."

He came over to me and took my face in his hands. "I told you. I have no interest in her. You're my wife, the mother of my child. I love you. I would never be unfaithful to you. You have nothing to worry about."

He kissed me and went into his office. I knew I had nothing to worry about but why was there still this hole in the pit of my stomach?

"Ugh, she is just so nauseating! I mean, she knows that he is married and yet she is going to go on ahead and flirt with him? What is her issue? She is taking Roman Reigns fangirl to a whole other level!"

"How does Joe feel about the situation?"

"He seems completely oblivious. Like, he knows what is happening but he says he won't be unfaithful and I have nothing to worry about. But at the same time, he is not telling her not to touch him or anything!"

"Maybe you need to tell him you don't like it when he doesn't tell her what is inappropriate."

"I do! And he just says I'm being worried over nothing. I know he isn't going to be unfaithful to me but it still upsets me when he lets her touch him and take him out to lunch."

"You just need to tell him you are uncomfortable with him spending so much time with her."

"I can't. I know Joe. He would say I'm just being paranoid."

"Are you?"

"Absolutely not! She basically grouped him right in front of me yesterday! Then she talks down to me but she makes it seem like she is just being concerned and what not. Ugh, I hate her!"

"Just talk to Joe. I'm sure he would understand where you are coming from."

"Maybe."

"Evanna, talk to him."

I sighed. "You're right. I'll talk to him when I see him later tonight."

"Good girl."

I talked to Dr. Patton for a while longer before I left to pick Carol. I would talk to Joe tonight.
