Staying home all day was fun, especially with the amount of contemplating I had to do, but I can honestly say I missed this place; its strange though, that one day of me being absent , alot of changes have gine through.
Because of the revolution taking place, the rules have gotten much worse. For instance, now we can't go outside for lunch, and the doors are always locked, so even when the last bell rings signifying that school is over, we have to wait for the guards to come from the other end of school to open the doors (I thank the elders for the gift of werewolf speed).
Next rule, they're thinking about integrating the school between the delinquents, and the harmless kids, I guess that's kind of good, 'cause now we won't have to deal with fights breaking out spontaneously, but its kind of unfair because most rogues are here to actually change their ways, and they're being judged unfairly.
The worst part, Quinshaw has been missing, Tranquility says her family doesn't know where he is, and no one has last seen hin since the alarm went off.
I know I shouldn't be worried about the where abouts of that jerk-off, but I can't help but forget how he ignored me, and remember the good times we've had together.
"Hey Shayla, we missed you yesterday. You could have called, we were all worried sick" said Maya and Tranquility coming up to me.
I rubbed at the back of my neck, feeling guilty fot not giving them a call. "Yea, sorry about that, I felt like hell yesterday, and barely made it out of bed before having one of my 'episodes'. It seems a lot has changed in one day."
The laughed nervously, " You haven't seen anything yet, they're thinking about making us wear I.D's next year."
" Uff.. I feel like it's my fault; even though I'm pissed off at the muderers who killed my father, I'm even more pissed off at the fact that everyone has to suffer for it, except for the actual murders."
Maya swing her arms around my shoulders."Sweetie, your exaggerating, your right about the people who killed your pops deserving to be punished, but honestly we're not paying for it. The school has been waiting for an excuse to tighten up their system , don't sweat it."
"Besides," cut in Quil " we have a lot of planning to do. We have ball gowns to buy for prom, graduation dresses, a baby shower and a wedding to plan."
They giggled in anticipation, while I dreaded what they had in store for me.
" Will Ms. Shayla Lupus please report to the principal's office."
I never thought that I would have dreaded those words as much as I did now.
As I made my way down to the principal's office, I noticed how the usual riff-raff that went on in the halls during class was gone. There must have been something big going on around here yesterday.
"Good morning Ms.Lupus, it's nice to see you again, how's it going for you?"
I grimaced, remembering my last encounter with Ms.Sutty, feeling guilty over the negative assesment of her, she seems like a very good person, but with bad choice in clothing.
" Hi Ms. Sutty, everything is fine."
"I heard about your father, I'm very sorry about what happened."
                              " Thanks." I said frowning.
"I was really sad to hear about your decision to transfer back to your school, but I understand why you would do so."
