I left school early. I couldn't deal with the constant stares, looks of pity, smirks, or laughs that went my way.

When I reached home I my father with open arms. I didn't expect him NOT to know this. Pack members have gossip in thier mouth more than they have thier teeth.

The tears started all over again. I got little comfort from the soothing words my father and brother whispered to me. I had little faith that everything was going to be ok.

My father came in my room with my favorite treat. Hot chocolate and chocolate sundae poptarts

I could feel the blade slowly piercing my skin. It was quicksilver. So that made it even more painful. I recited the words I have been saying since my very first shift. " Our Alpha is the decider. He is overseer. What he says goes. We are under his jurisdiction. The elders have picked him as Alpha, and their will is best.

Yes, I know. We're making him sound like he's the shit. But he didn't make it. The elders did.

And the meeting began.

I sat across the alpha. If you guys are wondering Grant IS here however he's at the other end of the room. And by the hormones I can smell coming off of him, I have a feeling who he is talking to.

" Now. Due to the...umm unfortunate events. I was forced to call or summon, this meeting."

This got grants attention " Unfortunate? So it was unfortunate that I made a decision I had the right to make considering that its my life we're talking about."

The Alpha got up from his seat. " Yes its an unfortunate event. Considering the fact that whether you like it or not." he pointed to me, " Your fucking her "

Grant got up in his face, and for a moment I thought he was losing his mind, " Don't worry, MR. Big-Bad Alpha, I already fucked her."

I knew the Alpha was ready to blow a gasket, but all I was worried about was that Grant would get hurt from his dad, idiotic right? "

" Good," he turned to me, " in a few weeks you and your friends can put together a wedding, right?"

Before I could refuse, Grant beat me to it " There is not going to be a wedding. I'm not getting married to her."

The Alpha's face turned red woth anger. My father looked worried. My brother looked, well he looked like he didn't give a fuck about what was going on. " Oh yes. There will be a wedding. God so help me YOU ARE GETTING MARIED TO HER!!! I don't give a fuck if it's before or after highschool. Your getting married."

Grant had a stupid smirk on his face. A smirk that I wished to slap off. Didn't he know the severity of our situation? " Good, my REAL girlfriend and I will get married after graduation. Heck, we'll get married next week if you want us to."

The Alpha laughed a cold, bitter laugh, "Your not getting married to that whore. You know the damage she will do if she becomes the mate of the Alpha?"

Grant rolled his eyes " Pack. Pack. Pack. Your always about the pack. Even mom has gotten sick and tired of hearing about you and this stupid pack!! What about your family huh? I thought family comes first. We don't even come second. Why the hell should I do what you say?!?! You dont know what I want. I'm not marrying her." He pointed to me while closing his statement. As much as I hate to admit it I loved seeing the passion in his eyes when he believed in something. Too bad the thing he believed in was not what his father wanted..

At this point they were in each others' faces my father knew making an attempt to break them apart was hopeless.

The Alpha's gaze softened when he saw me get up. Ready to leave " I don't see the problem. She is a beautiful girl. Why won't you marry her."

Before Grant could open his mouth I intervened.Coldly and no loger giving a fuck " Because, oh mighty Alpha," I said standing by the door way " I'm the runt"

and walked away, hearing him say in the distance " Meeting ajourned
