One thing I hate about reading a story about a girl getting pregnant is having to wait for her to give birth!!!

"I can't deal with this anymore." I said more to myself than Trae.

He cringed in disgust "No one told you to get knocked up, you have to deal with the consequences bruh." he said, with mop and bucket in hand.

I barely got out of my bed when one of my pregnancy episodes, or 'living hell' as I liked to call it, happened.

"Did you just call me bro? I'm a girl if you haven't noticed." Trying to change the topic, one thing about my brother: he likes to give you hell.

"Oh really? You are, I'm sorry I guess the potruding stomach wasn't a big enough of a hint; besides I never called you a guy. I said BRUH not BRO. There's a difference you know."

I smiled, though I'm mot quite sure if it's because he was funny, or the fact that he didn't realize I had changed the subject.

I rushed to the bathroom a wave of nausea eating away at me, I made it just in time for my 'Pregnancy Episodes' to happen without making another mess.

After three more rounds my stomach finally decided that it was enough.

"That's it young lady, no school for you, I won't permit it." Trae said, mocking my father's tone of voice.

I shook my head and we both laughed.

Instantly nostalgia came over the both of us, and before the first two tears could escpae my eyes, Trae slipped down to the bathroom floor and held his arms out around me while I cried my eyes out and honoured the memory of an good and honest man.

"There's nothing to watch on T.V." Trae said, grumbling to himself.

I laughed "Shouldn't you be doing schoolwork."

He rolled his eyes "I'm on break smartass"

I laughed again "And what break is this?"

He rolled his eyes again "Leave -your-brother -the- hell -alone week, very respected time of the year." he said, trying to push me of the couch much to the twins' dismay because they started punching.

"Shove off your making your nieces or nephews mad at you" I got up to make popcorn.

He laughed bitterly " Don't refer to me as a relative to that jackass' seed."

This is the first I've heard Trae speak like that.

" They're more my children than his, I'm the one taking the blunt end of this mayhem."

His golden eyes turned dark "If I were you, I'd give him hell for it, I'd leave and comeback when he has his balls in a jar, prepared for you."

I started feeling worried over this rash side of Trae, then let it go. He's still just pent up over this morning. " No you wouldn't, if you were me you would be doing the exact samething I'm doing because you wouldn't think like you, you would think like me."

"I going to pretend I understood what you said."

"Lol Trae, I said-"

"Never mind what you said. Consider what I'm saying, mom and dad had conections Shay, connections that are still there. Connections that we can use. We could move to the cottage in RedMount. I could even go to school. Start over, there would be no packs, no ranks. We wouldn't even be classified as rogues. We'd be humans"

I considered what he was saying, what reay caught my attention was him going to school. Would he really give it a chance if we'd moved? "You wanna go to school?"

He lips tilted upward, though I'm not sure if he was trying to smile, or hoping he could take back his words. "If not to finish junior year, then maybe senior. Think about it Shay; remember Mr. Gutemore? Dad's fishing buddy?"

I shook my head " Yea, he's the father of that girl you have a crush on- erm I mean, had, u know before your sexuality preference changed."

He blushed "My sexuality preference hasn't changed, yet anyways, but that't not the point; he and I talked after the funeral, and said that he had no problem with filling out any necessary paperwork. He could help us with all of this. We aren't doing a good job of taking care of ourselves, and YOU aren't ready to take care of kids."

"Which is why I need to stay here , Grant can help me, he can help us. He'll soon enough be the Alpha, maybe he can rough up the kids at school and you'll be able to go back, and he'll help pay with the kids once they are here."

He scoffed " That's the most absurd thing I've heard since hearing that babies come from the stork, if he isn't helping during the cheapest period of having kids, what makes you think that he'll appear during the most expensive? Bills are piling up Shay, we have to make a decision, a quick one to. Besides, I never said that I wanted to go back to that school, no matter what you do I'll never walk through those door again."

He turned to leave "Where are you going?"

"Out." He said before storming out and slamming the door.

Sooo... I think you all should know that after this book comes Trae and his mate's story and Tranquility her mates'. Although I dont know who I'll do first.
