DECLAN RICE

11th June – 13th June 2021

A sneak peak of the build up to the first England match at Wembley on the 13th June where they faced Croatia and won 1:0. A goal from Sterling in the 57th minute after an assist from Kalvin wins them the game at the sunny London ground.

Declan Rice, Mason Mount & John Stones all start, however Ben Chilwell is not included in the team.

"Look at him showing off" said Jack with a smirk as he slaps Ben on the chest as Dec turns around to look at them.

Daisy laughs as she pulls the camera down from her eye, her focus had been on the way Declan looked as he worked out, the way his muscles rippled and the expression on his face but now she couldn't help but smirk at the flush on his cheeks after being caught out by the boys.

"Dunno what you're talking about" Dec smirked "I'm always in here working out" he quipped as he heard Daisy laugh.

"Nah you are showing off for Dais" said Ben as he pointed towards Daisy stood behind him.

"I always work this hard; it has nothing to do with the fact my beautiful girlfriend is stood just right there" he smirks as he turns to look at her, his hand reaching to rest around her shoulders as she looks up at him.

"You were showing off a bit" she smiles at him as he fakes being offended by her words, stepping back slightly.

"Yes Daisy" said Jack with a laugh "see even your missus knows the truth" he grins as he walks away with Ben following him, both laughing as Dec turns to look back at Daisy.

"You're not meant to agree with them" he smiles at her as she brings the camera out to snap a picture of him.

"It's the truth though" she said as she looks down at the photo she had just taken of him, the piercing blue eyes looking almost blinding through the picture.

"How many photos have you taken of me then?" he asks her as he looks down at the image on her display screen before locking eyes with her.

"Too many" she smiles "if you didn't know by now, I'm obsessed with you" she grins as he blushes even more, a nervous laugh leaving his lips.

"Feelings completely mutual baby" he tells her as he goes back to where he left off.

"Look at them" said Alex with a smile as she sat at the lunch table next to Dani, her laptop open showing her, Sophia, and Daisy the photos of the official kit.

"They look so good Dani" said Daisy as she smiled at them, seeing the way once again Dec was playing up for the camera, then when the pictures switched to Mason he too was doing the same.

"Show off" said Sophia, with a smile on her face as Daisy turned to look at her smiling.

"They are both as bad as one another" Daisy quipped with a smile as Sophia smiled back at her now.

It had only been almost a week, but Daisy was starting to feel more at home being here at camp. She enjoyed the way each day was a little bit different from the day before but yet she still had some kind of routine.

She had gone home, well back to Dec's which was technically her home now to collect her belongings to come and stay for the remainder of camp and she felt sad even leaving this facility for 24 hours, she had really come to love being around these people.
