"See, I told you, we'd blend in." I held her hand as we walked around Winter Wonderland. It's a regular date, we were both in casual winter clothes and it was spontaneous so Selene really just went with me in our lounge wear. We decided to go to London before I head home for Christmas. We stayed at their London home, which was massive.
Selene had this childlike wonder in her eyes as she looked around the theme park. She told me she hasn't gone out on a lot of dates and I assured her so did I. We both had unusual childhoods, she grew up with a strict routine while I lived my life on the road, racing. Her teenage years were spent in boarding school and dating was set up by her family. I didn't get to date because there weren't much time for it until I was in Formula 1.
"So you've lived in London but you've never been to Winter Wonderland? How? I mean I've lived in Somerset but I've been here a couple of times." I asked amused
"I don't know. Christmas was often in Greece or the Alps so I don't get to explore London much during the holidays."
"Then let's make this a wonderful experience for you, baby."
She smiled and she's so beautiful.
"It already is. But yes, Let's go."
"I love it when you smile." I said while putting my arms around her shoulder.
"You give me reasons to smile more." She said while she relaxed her head on my shoulder and wrapped her arm around my waist.
We rode some rides and had some waffes and hot cocoa.
We were laughing and making fun of each other most of the time. I had my camera with me so I also took a lot of photos of Selene being goofy. It's rare. She always had this serious and strong persona in public, but not when she's with me.
As in the past few weeks, Selene has grown fond of wearing my clothes. I love how she looked comfortable and relaxed, a stark contrast to her usual uptight demeanor. She also became comfortable having her natural curls loose.
