Flashback:

Jeongin and I were childhood best friends.

I had a huge crush on him ever since we were little but I just had to keep dreaming.

"Jeony do you want to play with me?"

"No. He's playing with us freak,"

And they just dragged him away. I know he hated it. He ranted about those brats every day.

With his good grade and charms, all the girls were crazy about him.

By high school, he didn't even have time to hang out with me anymore.

His family is rich and mine is not.

We were not meant to be.

During the start of our second year of high school, Jeongin told me that he would be moving to another city for his father's business.

"Sujin, I need to tell you something," Jeongin said.

"Sure what is it?" I asked.

"I'm moving to another city.."

"What?" I said in disbelief.

"You've got to be kidding me," I said with tears in my eyes.

"I'm serious," Jeongin said.

"No! You can't leave me. Those girls will team up on me and-"

Jeongin held my hands and said. "Don't cry,"

"But.." I said with teary eyes.

We shared a warm hug and sobbed.

"I'm so sorry Sujin.." Jeongin said.

"No, it's ok.." I said.

"I didn't know how to say it," Jeongin said with his head down.

"It's fine," I said smiling.

"So when are you leaving?" I asked.

"Tomorrow morning," Jeongin said.

"How come you didn't tell me?" I said.

"Will you visit me?" Jeomgin asked.

"I'll try... You know that my family can't afford to travel at this time," I said.

"I'll come back for you," Jeongin said.

Tears flooded my eyes again.

How so sudden?

"Well, I lo-" I said.

"Jeongin! Come help me pack!" Jeongins mom yelled from the other room.

"Coming!"

Jeongin ran into the other room while I was left there with my heart aching.

At least he is happy. I bet he will make better friends.

Is this how it's supposed to be?...

I hate that I keep making new book ideas! This summer will be writing till my hands fall off 😭😭
