The shined in my eyes as I woke up.

Where am I?

I sat up and then it hit me?

"BEOMGYU!" I yelled.

Beomgyu came running and said, "Your awake,"

"Why am I on your couch?" I asked.

"You fell asleep on my couch last night," he said.

"Oh,"

"You snore A LOT," Beomgyu said.

"Hey!" I said before throwing a pillow at him.

"Well thank you for letting me stay here," I said.

"No problem," Beomgyu said.

"Wait- what time is it?" I asked.

"10 pm, why?" he said.

"I'm late for work!" I said.

"You have a job?" Beomgyu asked.

"What do you think?" I said.

"Don't mind me using your bathroom," I said before sprinting to the bathroom.

A few minutes later I come out of the bathroom and said, "I said to Jisso unnie that I would work on Fridays!"

"How I could've I known that?" Beomgyu asked.

"Come on. Drive me to me and the convenience store," I said while grabbing my purse.

"Fine," he said.

We got into the car and Beomgyu drove me to work.

As soon as we arrived I rushed to the counter.

"Hi, unnie!" I said.

"Hey Sujin," Jisoo unnie said waving from the back.

"Sorry I'm late," I said.

"It's fine. You don't need to put a uniform on today," she said.

I nod and then stood near the register.

Just then Beimgyu came into the store and said, "I'm leaving now Sujin, ok?"

"Wait- don't leave," I said.

"Why?" he asked.

"I need a ride home too," I said.

"Don't you live around here?" Beomgyu asked.

"Yea, but my feet hurt already," I said.

"By sleeping or what?"

"Shut up," I said.

"When does your shift end?" he asked.

"3:00. Why though?" I said.

"I'll come to pick you up then," he said.

"You don't have anything else better to do so give me some company here," I said.

"Okay okay,"

I don't know why but I wanted Beomgyu to be by my side. My heart tells me to make him stay.

We talked during my break and he helped me with the register as well.

As my shift was about to end someone entered the store.

To my shock, it was the same guy who had come before.

My whole body started to shake.

Please don't see me. Please.

"Beomgyu cover me," I said.

"Huh, why?"

I pointed to the guy and said, "Don't let him see me,"

Beomgyu realized what was going on and turned toward me and pinned me to the wall.

I hid behind him until the guy said, "Hey could you ring me up?"

We both stood there frozen.

"Trust me I'll handle this," Beomgyu said before turning to the guy revealing me.

"Sorry sir. Is this all?" he said.

"Move out of the way," the guy said.

"What if I don't?"

"I know you were hiring that chick," he said.

"Come here girl,"

"No," I said.

"Weren't you just flirting with me when I last came here?" the guy asked.

I pushed Beomgyu to the side and said, "That's flirting for you? Gosh leave me alone,"

The man walked away in embarrassment while Beomgyu gave me a weird look.

"Why did you ask me to cover you then?" he said.

"I didn't think he would notice us and leave me alone," I said.

"I thought he was going to hurt you. If you just told me I could've just shoved you in a closet," he said.

"I couldn't just tell you that when he was right there!" I said.

"Uh sorry to interrupt but here's your pay cheque Sujin," Jisoo unnie said handing me the cheque.

"Oh thank you," I said.

"Your so embarrassing!" I said.

"I didn't do anything you're the one who's screaming into my face," Beomgyu said.

"I'll be in the car," he said before walking away.

I felt bad. Did I scold him too much?

"Bye, unnie!" I said before running after him.
