I arrive at the mall and look around.
Where should I go first?
I decided to go into a boutique.
I got there and roamed around for a bit.
Just then I heard someone call my name.
"Sujin!" someone said.
"Huh?"
I turn around to see my best friend Kazuha.
"Kazuha?" I said.
"Long time no see," she said smiling.
"It's been so long!" I said.
"Since high school!" she added.
"Are you here shopping?" I asked.
"Yep," Kazuha said.
"Same. I just got my paycheck so I decided to treat myself to something," I said.
"Oh really?" she asked.
"You've changed since high school," I said.
"Good or bad?" she said giving me a 360.
"Amazing! You look so beautiful," I said.
"You too!" Kazuha said.
"How's life?" I asked her.
"I got into Hybe and debuted!" she squealed.
"OMG REALLY?" I said.
We both jumped up and down in excitement.
"How about you?" she asked.
"Well, I got fired and now I'm unemployed," I said.
"From the band?" Kazuha asked in shock.
I nod in disappointment.
"Why? What happened?" she asked.
"It's all because of Jeongin," I said.
"Jeongin? He's back?"
"Mhm," I said.
"Come on. Let's not talk about this here," Kazuha said.
We both agreed and continued with our shopping.
"Oh, this outfit is cute!" Kazuha said showing me.
"I'd look great in you for your performance," I said.
We finished our shopping and as we headed to the exit Kazuha said, "Wanna come over to my place?
"Sure," I said.
"You must be really rich right?"
Once we arrived at her apartment, we got out some snacks and sat on the couch.
"This reminds me of our high school days," I said sighing.
"That wasn't too long ago," Kazuha said.
"Yea.." I said.
"So well about Jeongin? Did you see him?" she asked eagerly.
"He came to my band performance with his girlfriend," I said.
"That as-"
"Let's not start that again," I said.
"Okay continue," Kazuha said.
"I lost focus and got frustrated and ya. I got fired because of that," I said.
"Typical Sujin, always thinking about something else," she said teasing me.
"And he just came out of no where like,"
"You liked him didn't you?" Kazuha asked.
"I still do," I said.
"Well, that sums it up. Tell him how you feel," she said.
"No, he is in a relationship," I said refusing to.
"Even so," she said.
"And when I was working at the convenience store he came with his girlfriend and-"
"You know what. Forget it. I just have to keep dreaming," I said laying my head on Kazuha's shoulder.
"But how does he look? The same?" she asked.
"No. Not the same," I said.
"Okay let's just talk about something else," I said.
"Let's not talk about you then, let's talk about him. Don't you think that he likes you?" Kazuha said.
"What no!" I said.
"It's obvious," she teased.
