A few days later while I was taking a walk in the evening I saw Rei come out of the Boutique.
She wasn't with Jeongin which was weird.
Just then I remembered everything that had happened.
I wanted to forget everything.
I went up to Rei and said, "Hey,"
"Oh hey Sujin!" she said.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
"I was taking a walk," I said.
"Oh, nice! It's been a while,"
"Yea," I said.
"So what's new?" I asked.
"Any plans with Jeongin?"
"No, actually. she said.
"How about you? How's life?" she asked.
"Uh nothing much," I said.
"Come on! Something must be going on," Rei said.
"Well. I have a boyfriend!" I said.
"Congratulations! Who is it?" Rei asked.
"You don't know him," I said. Why did I just say that?
What the hell is wrong with me?
"Okay, then I better get going!" I said before running away.
"That was weird," Rei said to herself.
I feel so bad. Why did I do this to myself?
I ran through the streets while on the verge of tears.
Suddenly I bumped into someone.
"Omg, I'm so sorry!" I said. But then I got a closer look at the person.
"No it's ok," he said.
"Beomgyu?" I said.
"What?"
"It's Sujin!" I said.
"Sujin? You look different," Beomgyu said.
Beomgyu is one of my old high school friends. I didn't know he lived around here.
"Wait- why are you crying?" he asked as soon as he noticed the tears in my eyes.
"Oh, it's nothing. I think I better get going," I said as I started to walk away.
Beomgyu grabbed me by the hand and pulled me into his arms.
"Tell me what happened Sujin," he said.
I started to sob.
I explained everything to him and told him about how I hooked up with Jeongin.
"I'm fucked up.." I said.
"Yea, how stupid are you?" he said.
Not helping.
"I think I'm just going to distance myself from him,"
Then I realized and I let go of Beomgyu.
"Well uh, you do that," he said.
"Your no help," I said.
"Why are you in town anyway?" I asked.
"I moved here," Beomgyu said.
"Really? Where do you live?" I asked him.
"Just a few minutes away," he said.
"Can I see your house?" I said.
"Sure I guess," Beomgyu said.
"But you got to leave right after,"
"I will!" I said smiling.
A few minutes later we stopped at a mansion and Beomgyu unlocked the door.
"This is your house?" I asked surprised.
"Yea," Beomgyu said.
"Now do you want to stay outside?"
"Oh yeah," I said.
Beomgyu's house was huge.
"How can you afford this? Did you steal?" I asked.
"Do I look like the type of person to do that?" he said.
"Yea," I said.
"Your couch is so soft," I said as I lay down on it.
"I'll be upstairs just do whatever," Beomgyu said while working upstairs.
"Yea okay," I said.
Beomgyu's POV:
A few minutes later I come back downstairs to find Sujin sleeping on the couch.
"Why am I not surprised?"
