The soft laughter of children could gently nudge anyone awake. It was sort of melodic; slightly like music, in its own way. As everyone slowly woke up, the morning's rays strayed into their room from a cracked door.

From the sound of it, it was Rustic and Wisp. The two had gotten close over their time here. It was cute to watch.

Thought yawned and stretched, "I should probably check on them," She mumbled.

"I'll come with you." Sayuri said voluntarily.

She felt wide awake- Even though she had just woken up a few minutes ago.

Atlanta was reading the diary that she had brought with her. The diary didn't belong to Atlanta- Sayuri knew that -However, the words on the front were hard to read.

Atlanta was reading the diary curiously. Ji-ho seemed to be staring into space. He looked like he was lost in his thoughts.

"Alright," Thought said slightly louder than she meant to. Edge was still sleeping, along with Drought.

Drought and Edge slept closely to each other. Edge was sprawled out on her back. On the other hand, there was Drought was curled up neatly beside her.

It was funny how close the two had gotten- "Prince" Drought, who you would think would never want anyone not from his tribe. He was with Edge, of all people, who could hardly care who she was with.

Sayuri saw Atlanta quickly take out a pencil. She flipped to a blank page, and started to move the pencil around the paper- It looked like she was drawing the two.

"Come on," Thought huffed to Sayuri.

"Okay, I'm coming." Sayuri walked towards Thought.

Thought opened the door wider. Bright sunlight streamed through. It made Drought and Edge stir- Which made Drought jump at how close he was to Edge.

Acacia was cooking something, while Aspen read a newspaper. He seemed to be falling asleep. Neither of them were really watching Rustic or Wisp.

Thought's eyes scanned every corner of the room, before a look of terror crossed her face. "Wisp! Rustic!" She yelped.

Throughout the small farms, what could only be described as a "herd" of soldiers and guards walked about. Among them, sat the one and only, Sparrow. No villagers or farmers were out. It was dead silent. Wisp and Rustic hardly heard them- Thought or the guards.

"Wisp- Rustic!" She yelped-whispered slightly louder.

The sight of Sparrow alone was enough to shake Sayuri down to the core. Now, he had a flock of soldiers with him.

Both heard her now. Wisp jumped slightly. The flower-crown, that she had been wearing for the past couple weeks, fluttered off gently. It landed softly to the ground.

Wisp let out a small yelp, but Rustic quickly ushered both in. "What are we going to do?" She murmured.

"We'll get it later once they leave," Thought comforted her, like a little kid, in a hushed tone.

A couple of the guards looked up. Everyone, even Acacia and Aspen, crouched down. They scanned the area, before talking amongst each other. The group then kept moving on what must have been their patrol.

Once they seemed far enough away, everyone got back up. "Both of you- Back into the library-thingy," Thought ordered.

"All of you back inside," Acacia grumbled.

Everyone hurried back. Even Aspen sauntered over to his room. All that was left was Acacia, who was almost done with breakfast, Sayuri, and Wisp.

"We can't just leave it there," Wisp mumbled to Sayuri.

Sayuri hesitated for a moment. "I can accompany you in getting it." She fidgeted with her hair awkwardly.

The girl's face brightened, "Really?" She chirped.

"Oh thank you! It really means a lot to me- Did you know that Rustic made that flower-crown for me..." Wisp trailed off, but Sayuri tuned her out.

Acacia could hardly hear them. In fact, she was taking what smelled like two pancakes out. She strode into their bedroom with Aspen.

Sayuri and Wisp both got outside of the house. They were covered by the tree's shadows. Sayuri quickly picked up the flower crown, and handed it to the girl. She shushed Wisp as she was about to say something out loud.

As they were heading back towards the house, a stick snapped beneath them.

Sparrow's entire flock stopped moving. They turned to the trees. They scanned it for any signs of life.

"Who's there?" Sparrow demanded. "Come out and show yourselves."

She shook with fear and terror. Sayuri didn't say anything. She tried to keep cool.

Sayuri signaled for Wisp to go inside. Wisp quickly darted back up. Not before she twisted her ankle on yet another stick. It popped loudly, and gave Sayuri away. Wisp was already safely inside.

"Get it!" Sparrow ordered the soldiers.

The soldiers were quick to respond to Sparrow's order. They all started to fly over.

Sayuri fell into a defensive position. Even though she didn't even know how to fight- With, or without powers.

"Sayuri?" Sparrow asked, as he got closer to her. He sounded so happy to see her- It made her sick.

The soldiers all pointed their weapons at Sayuri. Meanwhile, Sparrow walked closer and closer.

Sayuri was petrified. She couldn't bring herself to move a single muscle. She found herself standing face to face with Sparrow- Although he was taller than her. Sparrow grabbed the same hand he kissed at the Ability Testing, and kissed it once again.

Sayuri tried pulling her hand free again- This was almost like the scene at the Ability Testing. The only difference was... She was alone this time.

"Prince Sparrow, please back away from the Mismatch. We must arrest the thing, and sentence it to death. We do not want to harm you in the process." One of the soldiers ordered Prince Sparrow.

Prince Sparrow frowned at them. "She is my future wife. If you dare to lay a hand on her -or even look at her- I will give you a death sentence."

"Knock her out for now." Sparrow then commanded. "I want to surprise her later on."

The soldiers and guards didn't move.

"What are you doing? Didn't I just ordered you to do something?" Sparrow hissed in immediate anger.

"But sir, you told us to not touch her." Another, small, soldier squeaked out.

Sparrow shot a glare at the soldier. Sayuri -still trying to pull away- managed to get Sparrow's hand off. She backed away from the prince.

One of the soldiers behind her whacked her in the back of her head with the backend of a smaller knife. Sayuri fell to the ground with a soft -thud.-

Before she blacked out, Sayuri heard Sparrow whisper, "I will find a way to save you, my love." Then the world seemed to fade away, and die.
