EM POV

I don't know how long I was standing in the water. I slowly started to feel cold so I retreated to the sandy beach. I sat down and just kept watching the waves crash along the sand. The water always calmed me down, probably because I grew up in a town on a bay. I shivered a little as a small breeze swept across me. Sighing, I decided it was probably time to head back to the hotel.

"I hope I haven't lost him..." I said quietly as I rolled down my pant legs and dusted off my sandy feet. I left the beach and just started walking as the sun began to rise. It was a few minutes of walking when I realized I had no idea where I was going.

"Oh shit," I muttered to myself and looked around. Now that the sun was rising, I couldn't recognize anything. I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and furrowed my brows, trying to remember the name of the hotel. Racking my brain, I closed my eyes and flipped through my memories of the paperwork I'd been going over for weeks.

I remembered the names of the hotels in China and Japan, but was struggling to remember the hotel name here in Singapore. Blowing out some air in frustration, I tried to calm my brain again. Remember, remember, EM! I thought to myself. I don't know how long I stood there for when all of a sudden I heard a car slam their breaks right in front of me. I opened my eyes and saw a blur of black run towards me before I was in a pair of strong arms.

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" I heard growled. I felt the vibrations through his chest that my face was currently squished against. I tried to pull back, but he wasn't letting me. "We have been searching for you for hours." Sheepishly I buried my face into his chest further.

"Ha Jun-oppa, I didn't think anyone would notice I went for a walk," I admitted, my voice muffled against his chest. He growled further and pulled me into a tighter hug.

"A walk you went on without me, or even telling anyone where you went. You didn't even take your phone," Ha Jun said. I felt incredibly guilty.

"I just needed to get away to think," I said. Ha Jun took a deep breath, as if to say something, but his phone rang. He picked it up as he held me close still.

"Yes, I found her. She is cold and very tired, but she is okay," Ha Jun said into the phone. It wasn't until he said that did I realize that yes, I am indeed cold and exhausted. "I will bring her back and, no, she doesn't have any injuries." As he hung up the phone, Ha Jun finally released me into a loose hug, pulling back to inspect my face.

"Hi," I said sheepishly. I tried to look down, but Ha Jun held my face in both his hands, inspecting me.

"I heard about what happened," was all he said. I felt my lip tremble before he pulled me back into a hug.

"Did I lose him?" I asked as I cried into his hug. He didn't say anything because I know he doesn't know. We stood there for a few minutes before his phone rang again. Grunting, Ha Jun answered the phone again, but this time I tuned him out. I was getting really sleepy. I closed my eyes and felt myself drifting, putting more of my weight onto Ha Jun.

"Let's get you back," Ha Jun said as he reached down and put an arm behind my knees and the other behind my back and picked me up. I heard a muffled curse and movement as I am placed on something soft. The next thing I heard was Do Hyeon's voice.

"I'll take her up."

"No, I will take her up. You have done enough for now," Ha Jun growled quietly as I felt myself lifted again. I couldn't open my eyes, but I hummed in comfort and buried my head into the soft thing in front of me. I felt Ha Jun chuckle and mutter "cute" under his breath. He knew if I was awake and heard him, I would scold him.
