AUTHOR POV

Ha Jun was pacing in the backroom. They had sent extra security around the building to keep an eye out for EM. They claimed she had gotten caught up in the crowd and got lost.

BTS were finishing removing their makeup and kept glancing at Ha Jun as he paced. Frustrated, Ha Jun huffs and rubs the back of his neck. Sejin enters and approaches the stressed-out group.

"They've asked us to leave so they can start shutting down and closing the venue," Sejin informed them, dejectedly.

"I am going to send out Do Hyeon and Siwon to search the surrounding area and send Sung Hwan to the hotel, in case Em went that way," Ha Jun told the room, unaware that some of the HYBE staff walked by the door Sejin had left open.

"Sounds like a plan," Sejin said nodding his head. They had caught him up with everything that has happened and everyone was now aware of everything that was going on. That is, except for Em.

As the men left to do their assignments, Ha Jun reluctantly takes out his cell phone. He had been debating about making this call and felt like it was the time to do it. Ha Jun followed behind BTS and their staff as they left the venue to the screams and shouts of fans and flashing of cameras.

Unknown to the crowd, but the men smiling at them were anything but happy. The felt terrible about the situation and keeping Em in the dark. But they knew it was necessary until they could catch the culprit and make sure she was safe.

Ha Jun watched the young men enter their large SUVs as he used his speed dial.

"Ha Jun-ah, how are things going?" The man on the other end asked cheerfully. Ha Jun sighed then filled him in on the situation.

"I feel like I should be replaced by someone with more experience," Ha Jun began but was cut off.

"Nonsense, you are good at your job. Plus, you know how stubborn Em can be, she won't work with anyone else," the man said with a hint of humor. Rubbing a hand along his face Ha Jun countered.

"But I keep losing her, sir," Ha Jun growled out in frustration.

"No, she keeps running away. You keep finding her. I know you will again. Keep me posted. We got everything the boys sent us about the situation and we are going to start the investigation in earnest. We have called in the investigation unit from the police department, since several laws have been committed while in Korea."

"Thank you, BangPD-nim, I will keep you updated," Ha Jun said before ending the call.

"Excuse me sir?" Ha Jun turned to see additional HYBE and local staff standing behind him with determined looks.

"Can I help you?" Ha Jun asked, eyes darting around to see about a dozen people standing there.

"We heard that Ms. Em has gone missing, we would like to help look for her," the local Thai man said, waving his hand to the rest of the people behind him. Ha Jun raised an eyebrow at him.

"Ms. Em is very kind. She has helped out a lot, even doing work that isn't part of her job," one of the stage managers said shyly. Ha Jun realized this was one of the main stage managers that is often ignored by others unless given a direction order. He knew that Em had noticed how lonely she looked as the only female stage manager and made friends with her. Em would often check with her first to see if she could help out with anything, sometimes bringing the woman a coffee or snack.

"Alright," Ha Jun said and gave them instructions on where to go.

As Ha Jun and the volunteers started to plan out their duties and split up, BTS were in their van worried about Em. And Yoongi. The boys kept glancing at the boy who was just staring out the window, not even answering their calls or touches to get his attention.
