Chapter 28

THIRD PARTY POV

Everyone watched as Siwon pushed EM out of apartment.

"I don't quite understand what is going on," BangPD said, still looking at the now closed door.

"We don't want to cause EM any pain," Ha Jun said quietly. Suddenly, BangPD's phone started to ring.

"Hello? No... he just left with EM to her physical therapy appointment....yes, Oh really? I'll have him go there." BangPD hung up and looked around the room.

"Sir?" Ha Jun asked.

"Oh, can you message Siwon to head to the legal department after dropping EM off, and you switch with him?" BangPD asked. Ha Jun pulled out his phone. "Apparently they are having a small problem with his employment paperwork from JYP. They called there first, but the staffing are out of the office for a couple of days."

Ha Jun sent the message and then got ready to go to the hospital EM was at. BangPD soon left the members who had a rare day off after their busy schedule to make up for the time they took off to stay by EM's side and help Theo when they could. Theo was reading a book, the members were milling between the living room and the kitchen . They had been doing some meal prepping to work around everyone's schedule.

As it was halfway through her scheduled appointment, Ha Jun started to get ready to leave. He was gathering his things when Theo's phone rang. Seeing the hospital's number, he quickly answered.

"Hello, this is Theo," he answered in Korean. Theo was able to relearn the Korean he had studied many years before. "What do you mean? She left an hour ago. Are you telling me she never arrived?" Theo asked frantically. Everyone stopped what they were doing and hurried to the now panicking Theo.

"What is going on?" Ha Jun asked as soon as Theo hung up the call. Theo's hand was shaking as he ran it through his hair unconsciously.

"They said EM never showed up for her appointment. I asked them to have their security to run through the CCTV at the entrance we usually take EM to," Theo said, voice shaking. "Why is there another unlucky thing happening? Is our family paying for past misdeeds?" Theo mumbled out.

"I will ask BangPD to call the lawyers Siwon is meeting to see what happened after dropped her off," Namjoon said quickly, pulling his cellphone from his pocket calling the man.

"Here, let's take a seat here and we can get you a nice cup of tea," Jin said calmly to Theo, helping the older man sit down. Yoongi stood frozen at his spot near the door. He had been getting ready to sneakily tag along with Ha Jun to pick EM up. Now, help felt as if his stomach fell to his feet and was slightly dizzy.

Yoongi didn't know what to do. He had been feeling lost for so long, and now he felt any hope he had for EM to remember him was slipping through his fingers like water. He felt his chest getting tight, his heart was racing. It wasn't until Jungkook and Jimin helped him sit down and hold him that Yoongi realized he was starting to have a panic attack. Jungkook and Jimin shared a sad look before reassuring their hyung with soothing words. Soon, Yoongi was breathing normally again.

Hours later, the apartment was packed with staff from HYBE, including BangPD. They were all trying to figure out what happened when the doorbell rang. Jin went and returned with several people in suits, along with JYP himself. Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at the new visitors.

"We've got some news," One of the suited visitors said. An older woman stepped forward and bowed to everyone. "I'm Park Lee Won, lawyer for JYP." She looked at everyone before continuing. "Mr. Kim Siwon never arrived at our offices as requested."
