'Taehyungah', jimin's voice quivered when he pushed at the hands that was holding him causing the alpha to bury closer.

'Tae', jimin pushed himself to turn around in taehyung's embrace and taehyung was quick to lock his hands behind his waist, pulling them chest to chest and taehyung's heart was thudding wildly when his palm settled over his chest.

'Jiminah, what is it?', the alpha's huge hand cupped his cheeks and jimin closed his eyes, leaning into the familiar touch of calloused fingertips rubbing under his eyes.

Jimin's omega preened when taehyung's alpha reached out to him in a gentle voice, a silent tear slipping out of his voice when the alpha in taehyung connected with the pup in his belly, a surge of warmth flowing through their bond.

Jimin squished his face into taehyung's messy curls, inhaling a lungful of tangerine's from the alpha's skin because he missed this, missed having the younger in his arms, missed feeling safe.

'I missed you so much tae', jimin whispered, voice thick and laced with guilt for avoiding and hurting the alpha without a proper explanation, allowing himself to be vulnerable in taehyung's arms because he knows taehyung can make it all better.

Their first kiss after a week of jimin avoiding taehyung out of fear of confrontation was chaste, sweet unlike the hurried kisses they used to share in secluded corners of the street, so very different from the lingering kisses they had when taehyung was in his rut.
