Taehyung is waiting by his omega's doorstep, typing away on his phone when the door to his guest room slid open.

Taehyung never missed how jimin's eyes dimmed every time the omega averted his gaze after their eyes locked for a split second, the silent tug at taehyung's heart string solidifying his suspicions that jimin misses him just as much as taehyung misses his mate.

Taehyung had caught jimin so deep in thought, mumbling sweetly while caressing his bump and giggling at times, the sheer amount of happiness in his husband's face endearing and stealing his breath away.

Taehyung can see how jimin will be a good father, the kind of person that will love their child with his everything.

Taehyung's finger jerked by his side with the itch to hold the omega when jimin glanced at him, pocketing his phone to offer his hand to walk him to their car.

Taehyung expected jimin to disregard his outstretched hands, to maybe slap it away though taehyung knows his omega isn't that heartless to act without consideration for his feelings.

How is taehyung sure of that? Because jimin forgave him easily, the omega always did, be it the time he ended up being rushed to ER in high school, nursing a concussion after picking up a fight with a hot headed alpha after not heeding to jimin's pleadings or the time he had fought with his father for not accepting his wish to mate jimin.

Thinking back, taehyung can tell that he was selfish for holding onto the omega when jimin broke down in tears first thing after his best friend saw him in the hospital bed cause that was the day taehyung decided to be brave about the feelings he's been hiding in the dark for too long. A young taehyung at that time wasn't ready to let someone else snatch jimin away from him, not some stupid alpha who thinks he can boss around his jimin like he owns the omega. His omega.

He definitely was greedy ( always wanting and needing anything the omega can give him) when he stood his ground to mate jimin even when his father threatened to disown him, had listened to the elder disregard his love for jimin infront of the omega who had begged him to consider his father's word.

His wolf had gone wild when jimin pleaded him to forget their love, that conceding to his alpha father's words was worth than the love they shared. And maybe taehyung had dragged the crying male to his house, had pinned the omega to the wall to scent jimin till the omega calmed down from his hysterical sobs.

'You know i can't minnie, i can never, i- i will die without you', he had rasped, breathless and heaving into the crook of jimin's neck, silently crying with the omega.
