Jimin was washing his hands under the running water when the mark on his neck tingled a bit, the omega in him preening from the joy he can sense from their bond.

Two days after he mated taehyung, the alpha had dragged him out from his house and jimin didn't know where taehyung was taking him until he caught a glimpse of taehyung's father in the distance.

His omega began squirming and his feet stopped without his knowledge causing taehyung to stop as well. His alpha turned around without missing a beat and before the first tear could escape his eyes completely, taehyung's large palm cupped his face, tilting his head upwards to rub their noses together.

'Mimi, everything's gonna be alright. I'm here with you, I'll never let him hurt you', fingers rubbing under his eyes and over his cheeks 'I'll never let anyone hurt us', taehyung murmured holding on to his tummy.

His trembling heart found comfort in taehyung's firm eyes and soothing tangerines at that time, squeezing the warm palm over his belly in return.

'Appa', taehyung greeted his father and jimin hid behind his alpha's broad shoulder when the elder alpha glanced his way, eyes fierce and unforgiving in seeing their intertwined fingers.

'I told you to stay away from my son', alpha Kim sneered at him, paying no heed to taehyung's greetings.

Jimin forced himself to stand tall, a hardened gaze still locked with the elder alpha to challenge him head on. Elder Kim's eyes slipped downwards to his stomach when taehyung placed a protective palm over his belly.

Jimin saw the older alpha's eyes alternating between the mark on his son's neck and down to his stomach, a look of realisation passing through his eyes.

'Taehyung, is he-?', elder Kim asked, eyes widening in bewilderment, 'he is carrying my pup', taehyung cut him off, stern gaze not wavering from his father's cold ones.

'What have you done taehyung?', the alpha roared, walking up to them in quick steps.

'Tae', jimin cried, holding onto taehyung's forearm when a hard slap landed his alpha's face but taehyung squeezed his hands back in reassurance.

His omega howled when red began blooming on taehyung's left cheek, the scent of tangerines hurt and confused.

Before alpha Kim could raise his hand a second time, a low growl resonated in the air.

Taehyung whipped his head around in surprise the same time the elder alpha's hands froze in the air.

'Don't touch my alpha', he growled threateningly, stepping in front of his alpha to level his mate's father with a hard glare.

His omega prompted him to bare his teeth and jimin was satisfied to see the alpha back away from them. All along his hands were clenched into a tight fist by his side, nails creating indents in the sole of his palm.

He released the grip only after taehyung cupped his hand gently, locking their hands together right after.

'Appa, I'm going to mate jimin and we are going to raise our pup together. Even though you aren't approving of our bond, i still wish for your blessing', taehyung ended with a sigh, bowing deeply to his father who has his head hung low, pulling jimin with him by their clasped hands.
