The first time Jimin heard a shy Taehyung present the request to him, to join the alpha for his first cycle, Jimin believed Taehyung will have an idea of what to do give he is an alpha. That's the very reason he agreed to the deal. Taehyung being insanely handsome is also a perk, he won't lie.

Taehyung wasn't the first Alpha Jimin had agreed to help through his rut, but the 23-year-old excited puppy who couldn't walk two steps without tripping was definitely the reason for a new headache blooming behind his eyelids. Was Taehyung a born-clumsy or a situation-nervous-clumsy person because surely, you couldn't just stumble on thin air, can you?

Taehyung was a late bloomer; he presented three years later, since twenty is the normal age for wolves to present in their pack. So, the alpha is mostly a pup with a body that has the strength to throw him a good few distances. Not that it is anything bad. It's certainly a good thing to use in bed. Imagine if Taehyung used all that core strength in bed. And that's a chance Jimin isn't going to pass up.

They mutually agreed to have sex before the actual day of Taehyung's rut, a way to get Taehyung's freshly presented wolf familiar
with Jimin's omega and scent. This wasn't the plan, actually. Jimin heard Taehyung remark about his sensitive nose amid all the alpha's jittery ramblings, so Jimin was the one to suggest a hook-up. Newly bloomed wolves are picky with scents; hence there's a chance Taehyung's alpha might not stay calm during his cycle without causing chaos. The trick is to slowly introduce his wolf and eventually, hope to get the alpha to accept his omega. Taehyung said his rut might start in a day or two. So given the very little time on their hands, a hook-up might solve the issue. That's the best plan he has.

Though they were of the same age, the younger was tall, his boyish look was endearing Jimin to the point of no return, and the newly presented Alpha was shy around him, Taehyung's skin a near constant pink because he blushes easily with the barest of looks or touch. Taehyung has a chiseled jaw that's worth drooling over; the alpha's pecs and biceps are well-defined; and Taehyung has plump pink lips that stretch into a unique boxy grin. The alpha is also, beyond doubt, the clumsiest person Jimin has ever seen.

Their hook-up wasn't a great start because Jimin mostly guided the Alpha through it. Jimin was slightly irritated by the number of times he coaxed Taehyung to verbalize his needs since Taehyung looked lost, clueless to what to do. Do Virgins mostly act this cute and naive? He thought Alphas are, after all, supposed to know how to use their knot. Alpha's in rut are worse than an omega in heat, driven with the crazy need to stick their knot in someone. So Taehyung being this shy and faltering to initiate a simple touch is confusing. Maybe it's his nerves acting up, Jimin convinced himself, believing Taehyung will likely go rabid on his rut. Like an alpha is supposed to.

The pup (Jimin's nickname for Taehyung) blushes if they hold eye contact for more than five seconds. Jimin had softly kissed Taehyung's cheeks, and the alpha was looking so red in the face that Jimin feared he would faint from all the blood rushing to his cheeks. Believe him or not, the rest of Taehyung's body paled in comparison to his face, and Jimin was wondering how Taehyung was capable of sitting still without collapsing.

Taehyung wouldn't touch him for his life, let alone look him in the eye, and Jimin was in disbelief because he didn't know how he was supposed to take care of the alpha during his rut if Taehyung was hesitating to touch him. But there was lust in Taehyung's eyes; Jimin could tell from the way the alpha kept glancing, albeit bashfully, at his bare thighs and his exposed chest after the fur on his shoulder moved down.
