Alpha Taehyung × Beta Jimin

Jimin should have known that taehyung would come find him.

A part of him kept on stubbornly refusing this, kept on arguing with his head that the alpha wouldn't come to him in this state.

His wolf was badgering him back and forth, calling him stupid and stupid over again cause was there a time taehyung never came to him?

He was worried sick about Taehyung when the younger informed him that he would be joining the search group for a hunt to kill the bear that had been terrorizing their territory for a month.

Jimin tried his best to change the alpha's mind but, taehyung had only smiled, squeezing jimin's fingers which were tightly grasping his shirt.

'I'll be back, Jimin ah. You know I will always come back to you', taehyung said with his typical boxy smile, pressing a tentative kiss to his head before disappearing with jungkook and namjoon in the crowd.

And the next day, Jimin woke up to the pack chatter of jungkook carrying an injured taehyung to the healer's hut and jimin's feet acted before his head could fully grasp the news, taking off on a run to seokjin's house, their pack healer.

His legs threatened to buckle under his weight when he kept on running non-stop, but the throbbing pain of his heart was more potent, the ache was so strong in him, it felt like it was robbing him of air.

His legs stopped short a few feet away from seokjin's door, his wolf stirring when a whiff of cinnamon tickled his nostrils, his wolf going into a frenzy when the air smelled of blood.

Taehyung is just a door away from him, badly hurt and jimin wants to be with him.

But when his hands tried the door knob, it suddenly burst open-to the face of a distressed looking jungkook and then jimin was dragged away from the hut by the young alpha with a hand around his wrist.

Jimin punched the alpha on his chest, begging the younger to let him go, but jungkook only conceded to his request when they were a safe distance away from seokjin's house and by the time jungkook loosened the grip around his hand, jimin has broken down in tears, hiding his face in his palms to cry silently.

'Hyung, please stop crying, if he learns that you are anywhere near him, he will come barreling right through that door. Jin hyung had a hard time convincing him to stay put the whole time hyung was patching him up because he kept on making a fuss, asking for you' jungkook had said with a heavy sigh.

Jungkook patted him on the shoulder when he finally wiped his tears away using the end of his sleeve and when Jimin looked up, jungkook had a soft smile on his lips even though his eyes were weary.

'Hyung, he is alright now. He will heal pretty fast, you know that too. I'm sorry I had to drag you here. I saw Taehyungie hyung fussing around on the bed, and I was sure it must be you for him to cause a struggle even when he is heavily dosed for sleep,' jungkook had said with a little chuckle, and hearing this jimin's heart once again, began cramping up.
