You had been in the demon realm for a few months. Despite that, you still had no idea what was happening. You just tried to hide away, which was proven easier when you found a plant glyph. It helped you defend yourself and helped provided you shelter. You've heard of Luz another human stuck in the demon realm. You have wanted to talk to her but you had no clue where she was.
As if prompted you saw Luz running away from some scouts with Eda. Besides their panicked expressions, they seemed to be able to hold their own very well. You watched on in amazement. In a split-second decision, you tried to help by throwing down a Plant glyph. Which struck the leader of the scouts down. You cheered to yourself when one of the scouts started running towards you. Yeah wasn't the best choice you've made.
The guard starts trying to attack you. You tried your best to dodge but ended up getting hit a few times. In retrospect, you shouldn't have fought a person in the emperor's coven. While you had no fighting experience. You dodged to the best of your abilities. And by dodged I mean you moved around sporadically. Suddenly somebody punched the guard in the face. The guard was knocked to the ground. Eda was standing in front of you looking disgruntled. Luz waved at you standing in front of two guards bound to the ground by vines.
"Hey, thanks for the help!" Luz called out as she walked closer to you."Even if you sucked at it." Eda added. "Hey-" Luz suddenly gasped loudly. "Oh my goodness! Are you also a human!?" "Yes! I've been looking for you! You know give me some human living in the Boiling isles tips?" "Sure! We can go to your house for a bit." You paused. "Okay, I don't have a house-house. I have a little hut made of vines." Luz gasped dramatically. "You can live in the Owl house for now-" "Wait what?" Eda interjected but Luz ignored her. "Here come with me!" She grabbed your arm and dragged you to the aforementioned Owl House.
"King! We have a new friend!" Luz called out. Eda appeared behind you, "I'm not opposed to you being here. But just know I never agreed to this." "He's probably asleep. Come with me... Again." Luz said and you followed her still now completely sure if you were living here now or not. Right before entering the room, she draws a glyph you've never seen before. She tapped it and it turned into a ball of light. "Woah how did you do that? I've only been able to do plant glyphs!" You said. "Oh, there are four glyphs. Light, ice, fire, and like you said plants. And if you combine them you can make new glyphs." Luz explained it to you.
Soon she introduced you to King. Or at least tried. "Hey buddy, I met another human." "Weh? Oh cool." He said then fell back asleep. "He's a little tired right now." "That's okay, can you teach me more about glyphs? Would probably be easier to live if I had them." Luz's eyes lit up. "Yes! Of course, I can teach you!" "Be quiet!" King said. "Sorry buddy." Luz pets him.
In around ten minutes you memorized the other three glyphs. "This is so cool! How'd you find all these?" "A phone glitch, a snowflake, a plant, and a grudgby ball." "What's grudgby?" Luz then explained to you more about grudgby, and then Hexside. You don't know why but you suddenly feel a lot more at home.
