Blood Moon Ball Hunter x reader

Request: Could I request one with Hunter? (Romantically) where there's a Blood Moon ball? Kinda like from Star Vs The Forces of evil (if you don't know what that is look it up) and he asks us to dance, also the party is masquerade themed because yes, he where's a cardinal mask btw

A/n: I watched the star episode but that was just the one episode so there might be more info that makes this inaccurate sorry if so. 

The ball was a bust so far. You didn't have anyone to dance with and nothing went horribly wrong that you could at least get a small chuckle at. It would be awkward to step into the middle without a dance partner. Thankfully your boyfriend was coming but he wasn't here yet, so for now, you were stuck in a corner.

The chatter of others filled your ears. "Hello there." You heard a very familiar voice say. You looked over to a man in a cardinal mask and a suit. "Hello, Hunt- mysterious stranger." You both chuckled. "There's no fooling you, is there?" Hunter said. "It would help if you picked a better disguise." 

He cleared his throat, "Anyway," He extended his hand, "may I have this dance?" "You may." You grabbed his hand. He walked into the middle of the ballroom and spun you around. He was admittedly... very clumsy. But it was still a lot of fun. 

Piano music started playing but you paid no mind to it. But a red light coming from the ceiling did catch your attention. "Um, what is that?" You said freeing one of your hands to point upwards. "Um It's kind of hard to explain," He said scratching the back of his neck with his now free hand, "It's said that the two people selected under the light will stay together for all eternity."

"Huh." You said simply. Suddenly the light landed on two people. You and Hunter to be exact. A harsh blush spread across both of your faces. Thankfully for Hunter, it was concealed by his mask. You continued to dance but didn't say anything else.

After the ball was done you both left. "So do you believe the staying together thing?" Hunter asked. "I don't know... But titan do I hope it's true." You looked at him and smiled lightly... He smiled back and took his mask off. "Yeah me too."
