You gripped at your sleeves. You were staring at your homework blankly. No matter how hard you tried you couldn't figure out how to do it. Which resulted in you calling your girlfriend, Amity. You asked her to come over. About twenty minutes ago... So not only could you not find out what to do for twenty minutes, you were losing hope Amity was even coming. You hit your head against the table.

Right then you heard your door open. "Sorry for taking so long! Mom wouldn't stop asking who I was studying with- Are you okay?" Your face lit up and stood up. You tackled Amity in a hug. "You have no clue how happy I am to see you! You need to help me please." You groaned, "You do good in school, right?" Amity paused. "I guess? I mainly specialized in abominations, but I do get okay grades in other subjects." "How okay?" "Mmmm, like 85-90%." You narrowed your eyes. "You are being such a stereotypical smart kid." Amity tilted her head slightly.

You both went over to your table. "So what are you having trouble with?" "Ehhh, everything?" You chuckled awkwardly. "Really? This is pretty simple-" She slapped herself, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say it like that." "Nah it's fine." Amity looked unsure. "Okay if you say so. Well, let's get started!"

It's been two hours and you've gotten thru three questions. Both of you were super tired. "Ugh, I'm sorry I'm being so dumb." You grumbled. Suddenly she stood up. "Okay, we're taking a break!" "What, this is due soon!" "It's due in a week we can work on it later. It's going to be there tomorrow. Your mental health is more important, trust me I've learned it through experience." Amity said sweetly. "Okay." You said, still not fully trusting her.

"So what do you want to do?" Amity asked. "Want to re-read The Good Witch Azura?" "You know me so well." And as you said you started reading the book. It defiantly felt calming. It was nice. Maybe both you and your girlfriend need to limit your workload. But hey, there's no rush.
