TW/CW:  Major mentions of death

A/n: The Collector knows of death.

You snuck into the room that held the Collector. You knew the risks. But you also knew that you wanted to talk to your friend. "Y/n you're back!" The Collector cheered. "Yeah, yeah I'm back. Now quiet down a little will ya? We can't have anyone hearing us." The Collector giggled. "I know I know. But it's so nice to see you." You and The Collector started talking about each other's day.

"Ugh, Belos is the worst right?" You said. "Yeah, the only good thing he'll ever do is free me." You both laughed. Suddenly you heard footsteps walk by. "Leave." You said in a panic, "Like go in your mirror thing." The Collector looked confused about why you were so frantic. Despite that he obliged.

Soon Belos opened the door. You tried to turn yourself invisible but it was too late. It was clear Belos saw you. He walked up to you without a word. You walked back slightly trembling. You bumped into The Collector's glass. "So what happened-" The Collector started but went silent, "Hi Belos what are you doing." "Both of you need to learn how to follow lessons." suddenly your feet turned to stone. "Fuck." You whispered. "Phillip stop." The Collector said with a sudden seriousness in their voice, "If you don't  I'll stop the draining spell!" Belos paused, "If you stop it I won't free you." He then left.

The Collector's eyes darted towards you. "Sorry, you have to see this." You said, "Should of guess this would happen." "No-no no no Y/n you're going to be fine! You'll see Belos can't do this to his strongest soldier!" He said clearly trying to convince himself more than you. "You'd be surprised with how stupid he can be. Heh, now is not the time to be joking." The stone reached your neck. "Just know you were my favorite person." The Collector watched in horror as the stone slowly consumed your body fully.

"Y/n you can stop this now! Belos is gone! Th-this wasn't necessary!" They sputtered out, "Please take the illusion off or whatever this is! Y/n." They moved only for their body to be projected onto your stone body. He felt his heart drop. You were really gone. They could project onto the same as a wall. He felt like crying, but he couldn't. "I'm so sorry. I'm all alone. And it's my fault you're gone."
