Chapter 5
First person, Percy's perspective
*Percy is 8*
I hadn't seen Lady Ursa in weeks. I had anxiously wondered what happened to her, pacing the barracks.
"What's wrong, man," Everett said, looking at me like I just sprouted a second head.
"I haven't seen Lady Ursa in weeks," I said.
"You haven't heard-" I cut him off by storming out of the barracks. He had confirmed my deepest fear, something had happened to her.
I ran to the throne room. Two guards tried to stop me at the doors but I squeezed past them.
In the throne room was the Fire Lord, Prince Zuko, Princess Azula, and Iroh. The whole royal family, except Lady Ursa
"Where's Lady Ursa?" I panted.
"WHO ARE YOU TO BARGE INTO THE THRONE ROOM!" Fire Lord Ozai yelled.
"He is a servant boy who has no right to be here," said Azula.
"Then he must be punished!" The Fire Lord said, while making that stupid face he makes when he's mad that shows everybody his nostrils.
"We should kill him right now for this blatant disrespect." said Azula.
"No, we should execute him publicly to set an example," Iroh said, just as the Fire Lord was ready to deliver a fatal blow. Lady Ursa always said he was a kind soul, so what was this?
"Good idea, brother, it will happen tomorrow. For now, the servant boy can go back to his quarters to prepare." Fire Lord Ozai said, waving me off.
I walked back to the kitchens, struggling to process what just happened.
When I got to the barracks, Everett was there and he was staring at an abnormality in the wall and frowning.
When he noticed I was here he looked at me, changing his whole demeanor so quickly, it was jarring.
"Hey, man, how's it going? Where did you run off to earlier?" He said with a smile.
I didn't get a chance to respond because a moment later we heard a crash from the wall.
"It's so dusty in here," I heard a familiar voice say.
We heard a few more crashes and a few coughs before a panel on the wall came off. A person then fell out of the hole in the wall. The person grunted and lifted their face, letting everyone know who they were.
