My Heart Will Go On

Chapter 6

Finally, it was the D-day and I was super-thrilled for the event. It was supposed to start at 4 p.m. Since it was sunday, I woke up a little late than my usual timing, did my morning routine and spent my time somehow. I had my lunch and started to get ready at 2. ‘I've plenty of time’, I thought. I took out my carmine dress and after admiring it for one more time, I wore it.

I stood in front of the mirror. The dress looked awesome on me. It hugged my curves perfectly. The slit on the left side, showed my left thigh. Not going to lie, I looked sexy in it. Then I started doing my make-up and hair. I had kept a subtle and simple make-up.

As I decided to keep my hair open so, I opened it and let it fall on my shoulders. I brushed my hair and fixed it. I paired the dress with a pair of long silver earrings, silver heels and a nude hand bag.

Once I was ready, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. ‘Perfect!’, I chimed. I grabbed my phone and clicked a mirror selfie. I looked at the time and it showed 3:15 p.m. After admiring myself one more time, I went downstairs.

“Mom, dad, I'm ready to go.” I spoke. Both were sitting in the living room. They looked up at me and their eyes were full of admiration. “You look so pretty, my child.” my mom stated and hugged me. “Yes, you’re right.” said my dad. I smiled at their comment and muttered a soft “Thank you!”

Right then I received a text from Lena, “Bro, I'm outside your house.” Lena and I had decided to go together. “Lena is here.” My parents and I went out and we saw Lena standing near the cab. Lena waved at my mom and dad and they waved too. I hugged my parents and my mom said, “Enjoy!” I bid them bye and went to the cab.

I looked at Lena and she looked gorgeous. She wore a knee-length black dress. “You look sexy.” I said complementing her. “And so do you Miss Universe.” she replied. Then we sat inside the cab. I waved at my parents and the car left the place. Approx after 30 minutes, we reached the venue. Lena and I stepped out of the car and went inside.

Everything looked elegant, it was so beautifully decorated. After walking a bit more we saw our other friends. We went near them and said hello.

Everyone was well dressed and styled. “You both look gorgeous.” spoke Darla. “Thank you and same to you.” said Lena. I was looking for Ash and then I saw her coming inside the room. Ash looked at me and waved cheerfully.

She came to us and I hugged her, “Oh my goodness, Lena and Rose, you both look amazing!” Ash complimented. We laughed and thanked her. “So, you’ll change after your performance, right?” I asked Ash. “Yeah, right.” she replied.

Just then Rey came there. I looked at him and I was amazed by his looks. His attire was completely black. He wore a black shirt, black blazer and black pants.

“Oh...my...god.” Ashley whispered. I laughed a bit. I spoke, “You look sexy though.” The girls giggled and Rey gave a shy smile. ‘Oh my, he’s shy?’ I thought, because Rey looked like a tough guy, who’s not easy to get. ‘Well, maybe he is shy in nature.’ That’s what I thought.

Minutes later, the event started. We all sat in the first row and enjoyed it. The starting performances were fabulous. As we reached the middle of the event It was time for Ash’s performance. After the anchor announced about her performance, all of us screamed at the top of our lungs.

We were shaken by her dance. Everyone was surprised by her dancing, and there was I, sitting like a proud mother. She had put the stage on fire. I looked around me and found people absorbed in her performance. I smirked at this and thought, ‘That’s my girl!’

After her performance was over, the whole hall was filled with screams and claps. I went out of the hall to see her. She came there and hugging her said, “Bro you were awesome! I mean, I don’t have words!” “Thank you so much!” she exclaimed. “Okay, I'll go get changed. I don’t want to miss Rey’s performance, you know.” she spoke and smirked. I smirked too and said, “Yeah, of course. Now go and come quickly.” She giggled and ran with the speed of light and I went inside.

After 20 minutes or so, Ash entered the hall. “Oh Lalala~ You look sexy.” I complimented her. She wore a silver, A-line dress. “Thanks babe!” she said. Just then the anchor announced about Rey’s performance. The girls sitting near us got impetuous. I wasn’t amazed at their madness. “Finally! It's time for his performance.” spoke Ashley. Honestly, I wasn’t that excited as these girls were.

The lights were dimmed and focus lights were on the stage. Rey entered and the music started to play. As soon as it did, a girl beside me jumped and screamed. I got startled, ‘God, these girls are getting wild. What’s so special about his dance-’ My thought got interrupted in the middle when I saw him dancing.

‘OH....MY...FREAKING...GOD’ that’s all I could think of. My eyes were wide like saucers. Not exaggerating, but that was the finest performance I've ever seen live. The way his body moved with the music, his smooth, silky moves. I was mesmerized. After a good 5 minutes, the performance got over. ‘Oh, got over so soon’ I thought and sighed. ‘That’s why these girls were screaming like hell’ I came to the pretty obvious conclusion.

After all the performances were over, we emptied the hall and went outside. There we met Rey, Aron and others. We went to them and Ashley spoke, “Rey, you were out of the world, I am not exaggerating.” The rest of us nodded and agreed to her. He laughed and thanked everyone and excused himself to meet his friends.

“Now that everything’s done, what happens next?” asked Darla. “The real fun will begin now. Just wait and watch.” Aron spoke. “Okay, let’s see.” said Ethan. We then went in the garden and saw the food platters and DJ. “Food! I'm so hungry.” said Felix and Aron together and rushed towards the food counter. The girls decided to click pictures, so we went near the selfie spot and did our job.
