It's been 2 weeks since my last beating he gave me with the belt.
My body was covered in bruises from my neck down.
Kade tried helping me but he ended up getting bruised up. He got slapped with the belt right across his face . I lost it. Emotionally and mentally.
Now he had a bruise on his cheek.
I've been weak and not feeling good for the past couple of months. I guess he's just taking everything out of me.
Kaitlyn didn't even know he beat me. I didn't want to tell anyone cause it's no ones business.
Kaitlyn handed out my invitations too people she knew. We sat up everything at Kaitlyn home.
" What are you wearing. It's your Baby shower. You should be wearing a. Dress " She said looking at me
" No. I feel comfortable in this. " I said but the truth was. My body hurt to be touched. I could barley walk. I couldn't sit it hurt to much.
I couldn't stand cause that hurt also.
I haven't been to the doctor in 2 months. I couldn't that would see the bruises and call CPS.
"Here. Just put this on " Kaitlyn said as she grabbed my shirt and raised it up
" No " I said snapping at her
She looked at my belly and began crying " What is he doing to you. ?" She said as she touched my face
" Not in front of Kade, " I said looking at her
" You have to get out of there! " she said grabbing my hand
" I'm going to. "
" People are showing up " Kaitlyn mom said yelling up the stairs
" Please, just don't say anything " I said looking at her
She nodded her head.
We walked downstairs and went out to the backyard and greeted everyone.
There was three people who showed up.
I was thankful that anyone even cared to do so.
Kade was around me the whole time. He didn't want me leaving his side and I didn't want to leave him either.
As we were putting up everything and everyone had left. A group of guys came
" I can't believe you made it " Kaitlyn said greeting the guys that looked familiar but somewhat older than the last time I saw them.
" Yeah, we just dropped some stuff off for y'all " One of the guys said
I saw the guy I slept with staring at me.
I looked down and turned away.
I rolled down my sleeves that I had rolled up.
"Where the fuck is she?! " I heard johnny say as he walked in.
" I'm coming! " I said as I took Kades hand
He walked into the kitchen were I was standing.
" I've been outside waiting for about half an hour. Come on! " he said
" I'm just getting you some food! " I said snapping
He went silent. " Now " he said
I said my goodbyes too Kaitlyn. Not acknowledging the other guys standing there.
She didn't tell me, she was inviting them.
I grabbed our plates and met johnny who was standing at the door.
I walked beside him and he punched me in my back as we walked out of the house.
" I wasn't trying to yell. I'm sorry, I was just trying to get us a plate " I said looking at him
He punched me in my face as he got into the car.
Kade began crying and Johnny reached back there and hit him too.
Johnny drove off and we were on our way home
I grabbed the tissue and held it to my nose.
" Get out Kade being a little bitch!" He said stopping the car
I rolled my eyes and grabbed kade as we got out.
" Are you okay? " I asked Kade as we began walking home.
He laid his head down on my shoulder as I packed him down the highway.
It's been forever since I walked. I haven't left the house in 2 months and today was suppose to be the hottest day this month. And it didn't help I was wearing all black.
I began to get dizzy as the sun shined right down on us.
I stopped and sat on the concrete railing on the side of the road.
I saw a big truck pull to the side of the road as I sat there.
" Do you need a ride? " The group of guys from the baby shower asked
" No, " I said quickly.
Kade looked at them and then me.
" Please get in. If you'd like. I'll ride in the tailgate " the guy I slept with said.
I looked down and then at Kade.
" Okay, but you don't have to " I Said as I walked to the truck
I got in and kade sat in the middle. His two buddies sat in the back.
" So how many months are you? " He asked looking at me
" 8" I said
Kade moved closer to me as he began crying.
" What's wrong? " I asked him
" I'm thirsty " he said looking at me
" We're going to be home in a bit " I said looking at him
He's friend gave Kade his bottle water and Kade drunk it within seconds
" Thank you " I said as I looked at him
" What's your name again? " they asked
" I'm Jade. Yours? "
" I'm Taylor, This here is Frank and the guy driving is Chad " He said looking at me
" This is Kade " I said smiling at I ran my hand through his hair
" Hey Buddy! " They said
Kade of course was acting shy.
" Right here is fine " I said as he pulled over
" I would like to get together. And talk about this " He said looking at me
" I'll meet you tomorrow at the restaurant we passed on the way up here " I said as I got out
He nodded and I got out and we went our different ways
