Chad's (POV)
I got dressed and headed out the door, I couldnt believe I was about to be a father. I didn't know how to take it and I sure as hell was shocked when I heard about it. I'm still pretty shocked.
She would be the last person I'd ever want to get pregnant but it happened and now I have to deal with the effect.
I sat at the table waiting for Jade and Kade.
I ordered them some water.
I saw as they walked up to the building.
I stood as she entered and her brother walked towards me.
" She has to use the bathroom " he said crawling into the booth.
" What happened? " I asked him as I wiped the blood from his mouth
He didn't say anything. He opened up his coloring pages and began coloring
" Hey, What happened? " I asked him again
" We aren't aloud to talk about it because he will kill Jade " He said as he looked at me
" I won't tell anyone. I promise! " I said grinning at him
He paused and than looked at me.
" He was hurting sissy " Kade said as his mood changed to sad
" What do you mean? " I asked
" He hurts her until she crys but he doesn't like when she crys, it just makes him mad. " he said
" What does he do? " I asked him
He looked up
" Sorry, my bladder is weak " Jade said smiling
I looked at her and nodded.
" Order, whatever you want " I said looking at her
" I'm fine, Kade you eat something " She said opening up the menu
" I insist. You both eat! " I said smiling
She grinned and open the menu.
Our waitress came and we ordered our food
I looked at Jade as she colored with her brother.
" Didn't you wear that yesterday? " I asked looking at her
" Yes, it is the only thing comfortable! " she said.
" You mean. That will hide your bruises? " I said taking her arm as she fought me.
I pulled up the sleeve to see bruises everywhere
" How dare you " she said pulling away as she gathered her things
" Sit down! Kade is hungry and he needs to eat " I snapped
" Why did you ask me to meet you when all your going to do is judge me ? " she said sitting there
" I'm not judging you. You probably have a great reason why you keep going back to that man and not turning him in, but your coming home with me today " I said looking at me
" What? " she asked
" Either you leave or all of you die " I said
" I'm trying to leave. He will kill us! " she said shaking .
" I'll protect you. Just come with me " I said
" I can't afford to pay you or anything " She said
" I didn't ask you too. I'm just trying to. Keep y'all safe. Including my unborn child " I said as we got our food
" We can come live with you? " she asked
" Yes. You don't have to do anything. I just want you both to heal and be healthy " he said looking at me
She sat there shocked and I saw tears fall.
Relief were in her eyes
" Just finished eating and I will take care of the rest "I said as he pulled out my phone.
She smiled " Thank you so much "
I texted my homeboys and we met up after I dropped Jade off over Kaitlyn.
" What's up bro? " they said looking at me
" We have to handle some business y'all down or what? " I said looking at them
" Let's go " they said getting into my truck.
We drove to were I dropped Jade off that night.
I grabbed a metal pipe and we walked down a dirt road.
I busted into the home of this man, he jumped up and looked at me
" Who the fuck are y'all?! " he asked raising his voice
" Your worse fucking nightmare! " I said as I hit him across his face with the metal pipe that was in my hand.
He immediately was out cold.
I grabbed Jade and Kade things which wasn't much and sat it by the door .
I unzipped my pants and pissed on his face
He woke up dazed and confused
" Whats going on?! " he said looking at us
" The woman and little boy you've been abusing happen to be family. And you've hurt them. So if you touch, talk to speak to her again. We will kill you " I said punching him in his face
" You can't take her away from me. Her mother gave her to me. She was her payment!. I can do whatever I please with that whore!. You know she likes it soft. Which pissed me off." He said smiling at me
I punched him again " Shut the fuck up. You sick fuck! " I said
" She sucks at giving head! " he said laughing
I punched him repeatedly until he wasnt even moving
" Chill! " my friends said as they pulled me off of him
They sat him up and poured water on his face.
" I even made that little boy watch " He said
I lost it. I swung the pipe hitting him wherever I could.
I heard something crack and I was pushed up against the wall
" We got him, Go to the truck! " Taylor said as he picked up the bags and handed them too me.
" I mean it. Next time I'll kill you " I said before walking out.
I threw the things on the tailgate and slammed my truck door.
My break was aching. How could he be so careless. Kade is a innocent child. Now he will forever be haunted with those images
I looked at my friends as they walked too me.
" He understands okay? " they said as they got in the truck.
" He better " I said driving off
