I got Madi ready for her two week check up.
I had already got myself ready.
I put her clothes on and put her in the carseat.
" Are you almost ready? " Chad said walking into the room
" I am ready " I said
I put Kades shoes on and we walked out the door.
We didn't really talk in the truck. He didn't seem like himself lately. He barley saw Madi. He didn't talk to me really at all. And he didn't talk to Kade
Kade birthday was in a few months and I wanted him to have a good birthday.
That's why after I get released from the doctor I'm going straight to work.
We walked in the doctors office as we waited for our name to be called.
We waited for 30 minutes. And was called back.
They weighed her. Took blood and just checked her over. He looked at me and at my stitches.
My broken rib was fine. I could work with it just fine. I needed to.
" I will release you but only small labor. No heavy lifting. No hours over 6 " he said
I smiled and nodded.
He wrote me a doctors note. I will start work tomorrow.
We went home and Chad had left the house once again. Who knows where he goes.
I laid Madi down in her rocker as it slowly moved her.
I just couldn't wait to start working. I was putting the kids in daycare so Chad nor his mother had to watch them.
It was easier that way and more convenient for everyone.

I had a stroller for the both of them as we walked out of the house that morning.
I told Chad's mom that I was going to work and she said okay. I had no idea were Chad was.
I dropped them off at daycare and went to work.
It was long. Tiring. I didn't Miss it at all. I was hurting really bad i pushed 8 hours today.
I needed the money .
I finished and left the store at almost midnight.
I. Picked up the kids and I stopped off and got Kade something to eat.
They said madi had already eaten.
She laid there sleeping as we walked Home.
I slowly opened the door and walked into the house. I couldn't wait to lay down. I was hurting very badly.
" Where in the hell have you been?! " Chad mother asked looking at me as she walked into the living room
" I just came in from work " I said
She hit me in my face and I collapsed.
I held my face as I looked at her shocked.
" Why'd you hit me?! " I asked confused
" Next time you call someone. " She said looking at me
I rolled my eyes as tears fell
" I don't have a phone!. " i said screaming
She walked up to me and punch me in my face.
I pushed her back as I held my eye.
" She just hit me! " She gasped.
Her daughter came down as she quickly ran up to me.
My kids began crying.
I walked away as she swung and hit me in my face. " Don't you hit my mother! " She said jumping on my back as she choked me. I felt punches to my face as I began loosing my breath.
" Stop this! " I heard someone say.
Tears were rolling down my face.
" What the hell is wrong with you people? " I asked as I got up and got my brother and my daughter out.
We went into the room and I locked the door as I sat there balling my eyes out.
I can't stay here anymore. I cannot do it
But what about CPS?!
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place .
" Are you okay?!" Kade asked crying
" Yeah bubba. Are you okay?. Did you get hurt ?" I asked him as I pulled him into my lap and kissed him
He looked at me and hugged me as we sat there .
My door opened suddenly and I jumped
Chad charged at me and Kade got out of my lap quickly.
" What the fuck did you do?!" He asked as he grabbed my by my hair
I got up and quickly moved with him " Stop please!" I said
We walked out of the room
" You hit my fucking mother ?!" he said pushing me into the wall
" Your mother hit me!. And then your sister!" I said yelling
He grabbed my face and shoved it into the wall
" I'm done with you!." He said banging my head against the wall
He moved away as I slid down the wall " Touch any of them again and I swear I'll kill you myself!" He said walking away
