I have been working my tale off the past few months . With Madi getting bigger that means new clothes . And with Kade getting bigger that means the same thing for him.
Thanksgiving was around the corner and I had no idea what we were going to do . I can't cook inside the motel . Maybe the Salvation Army will provide a dinner . It won't hurt to try to go up there .
I was so ready to move out of this town . I hated it here. I was miserable seeing the same faces everyday . I also picked up another job that i worked during the night which helped out a little more but I got no rest at night or during the day. But Christmas is coming up . I can't stop now
I bought the kids a Thanksgiving outfit so they could look cute . Madi was getting so big so fast and Kade was growing like a weed.
I worked in a Warehouse at night . Stocking and filling what needs to be filled . Which is were the kids slept at night in the play pin.
So therefore I had no free time to do anything and neither did the kids. I wish things were different but I'm dumb and ruin things for us .

" Happy Thanksgiving " Kade said as he gave me his drawing he made at the daycare they go to.
" thank you so much Kade!!" I said smiling big as i took the paper with a turkey on it . And underneath the turkey it said " I'm thankful for you and Madi ". I hugged him and smiled .
" I love you and I'm thankful for you too" i said smiling
I got the kids dressed in a cute outfit and myself i just wore some black tights and a shirt. Nothing of mine was new which i didn't need anything new . As long as the kids looked good .
I ran my fingers thru my hair and threw it up into a bun.
We begin walking to the Homeless center .
They provided thanksgiving dinner there
Kade was excited to eat and Madi was sleeping for now .
We walked the busy streets until we made it to the building . It seemed like it took longer than usual but maybe not
There were quite a few cars here . Maybe the workers.
I walked into the door and it was kinda full but not too bad . Everyone was beginning to line up . We made it just in time . Thank goodness
We got in line and stood there as it moved slowly.
We got closer and i couldn't believe my eyes .
Chad and his family were here serving the food .
My heart begin beating rapidly
He hasn't seen Madi since she was maybe a couple of months .
We got closer and grabbed our plates .
" Well well well, look what the wind blew in" I heard Chads friend say as he giggled
I didn't say anything
" Kade tell them what you want" i said as he stood in front of me looking at the food
I had Madi on my hip
I didn't make eye contact nor did i say anything to anyone . I didn't wanna start drama in this place
" Two of his baby mommas in the same place. awkward " Chads friend said
" I'll kill you . Shut the fuck up. She's not anything to me nor is that fucking kid" Chad said
My heart dropped . I can't believe he said that . But why should that surprise me .
We got our plates and begin walking to a table
