"Don't undersell yourself, (Y/n)."

(Y/n) could still feel Wally's hand against her face, the moment repeating over and over and over in her mind. The distraction made it difficult to work. The computer screen in front of her had gone to sleep, an array of fish as the screen saver popped up.

She let out a sigh looking outside as the sun began to set. Nothing was going to get done and the work day was basically over.

After shutting down her computer she packed up remaining work items on her desk for the day then hung up her lab coat on the hook. As she exited her office Wally was about to knock.

"Oh— I'm— were you leaving?" He spoke, placing his hands behind his back.

"Yeah, I uh— finished up early today. Did you need something? I can always get my computers running again."

"No, that's not necessary. I was going to ask—" Wally paused for a moment. "Will you come somewhere with me?"

"Is something wrong in the factory?"

"No, nothing is wrong, it's outside the factory. I'm visiting somewhere and I'd like to bring you with. Non-work related."

"Oh, sure, let me go get my coat."

"Okay, yeah, good, uh— can you meet me out at loading dock 6?"

(Y/n) nodded and went off to grab her jacket. As the warmer weather was coming she didn't need a heavy winter coat, just a hoodie. After changing around she made her way to the loading dock, walking outside. In front of the dock Wally's car sat. He stood outside of it, leaning against the side, arms crossed.

"Where are we heading?" She walked down the steps making her way to the car.

"I'll show you." He smiled and opened the car door for her allowing her inside.

(Y/n) looked at him then sat down in the car. It was quite obvious Wally had money to spare as the car was luxury. The seats were heated and the lining was black leather. She was curious and a tad nervous as to where they were going.

"No jacket?" She spoke up filling the silence.

"My turtlenecks work just fine."

(Y/n) leaned on her elbow gazing out the window as they drove, "Did you ever think of getting another color than black?"

"Do you not like black?"

"Do you not like other colors?"

He smirked at her, "I feel black as fitting for myself."

"So now that we're on the road, can I know where we're going?"

It took several moments before he spoke up, "It's a special area, a private area not too far away from here. I visit this place often and I wanted a bit of company this time."

She nodded lightly, "Well, it's definitely better than sitting in that factory all day."

"Yes, I often forget the nature that's built up around the factory."

They continued to lightly converse through the drive until Wally parked the car a bit off the road.

"We're here, come, follow me."

He closed the door to the car and waited for (Y/n) to do the same then began following a dirt path. It was used frequently it seemed as markers on trees lead the way. No longer nervous, but curious, she followed behind him allowing the quietness of the forest to fill the silence. It was peaceful.

Up ahead she spotted a bench that over looked a large river. The scenery was fresh green trees beginning to come back from their winter sleep. Flowers poking their heads out to the sunlight and warmth. The rivers water flowed over rocks creating a symphony of sounds to enjoy.
