"No, (Y/n) I'm sorry, he didn't come by here," Julie spoke over the phone. "I'll keep you updated if any of us hear from him."

"Thank you, Julie." (Y/n) sighed. "Take care."

She hung up her phone and continued driving on the roads around the town. She had been at it for hours, calling anyone and everyone that knew Wally or his location. The thing is, Wally was a loner and didn't go to anyone.

The cons of working illegally was being unable to go to the police about this. No police, no hospitals, nothing was allowed. Others could have helped in the search, but the workers didn't know what had happened that night and were better off not knowing. There were enough rumors around the factory as is.

While driving on the side of the road she spotted something incredibly off with a tree in particular. A large gash, a scratch, in the side of the wood. Turning around she stopped the car and looked at the fresh mark.

Wally had been there and he wasn't happy, it appeared. After a few moments (Y/n) recognized this as the area she had been picked up by Joy.

"So he sniffed me out....but he was too late..."

While sitting in the parked car a call came in from her phone, Dr. Joy.

"Hey! Did he come back? Did you hear anything?" She immediately asked.

He sat in her office on her computer helping her with locating Wally, "No he's not back, but listen, I might have something."

"What do you have?"

"You know that program you set up to search through vehicle locations via satellites?"

"Oh no did it freeze up again? I've been trying to recode the program for a while so the system might—"

"Listen! (Y/n), I think we got a ping on his car, not him, but his car."

"Did the VIN and license plate number match up on the location?"

"Yes, and he's going to be pissed once he finds out you broke through the security in his car like that."

"If he finds out and if I ever find him." She sighed. "Can you send me the coordinates to his location so I can put them in my map?"

"Sending it as we speak." Typing filled the silence on the other side, "Do you still want me on your computers after this?"

"No, you can go back to work. I appreciate you, Joy. Thank you."

"Best of luck, (Y/n). Call me if you need anything."

After hanging up she began putting the location into her phone. A few moments later it was very obvious where he had wound up.

"There you are."

(Y/n) knew this location and had been there only a handful of times. It wasn't a pleasant spot to be, especially for Wally.

After a short drive, she pulled into the cemetery. It stretched far and wide filled with tombstones in multiple rows. As the sun set for the day the graves cast a shadow onto one another, the fronts of them facing the hues of orange and yellow.

Then, Wally's car came into view parked off to the side near a grave that stood alone under a tree. Coming over the hill he became visible.

(Y/n) parked her car behind his and took a breath before stepping out. She approached Wally slowly.

He laid in front of his daughter's tombstone, curled up, a blanket over himself. She knew better than to assume he was dead, but something didn't appear right.
