(Y/n) sat in her office watching videos on her phone. The last week had been a whirlwind of emotions for her as so much had happened. Her mind only thought about Wally, his hands on her face, gazing into her eyes.

As she mindlessly scrolled a phone call came in.

"What is it, Wallace?" She sighed.

"Woah woah woah, is that how you greet a friend?"

"I'm sorry," She pinched the arch of her nose, "It's been a mess here lately."

"You mean more than it already is?"

"Yeah, surprisingly."

"Well, I hope my bundle of flowers cheered you up."

"The colorful ones? Those were from you?"

"Yeah, I kinda figured you needed a little pick-me-up. It was pretty hard getting them to you."

She paused for a moment, "You know if he finds out you talk to me he will hunt you down."

"Are you his little girlfriend or something?" Wallace laughed a bit.

"No, I'm not." She grew red in the face, sternly answering.

"I'm just kidding, doll. No worries, but did you like them?"

"Yeah, I did." She smiled a bit, "It was thoughtful, I will admit."

"Have you made a decision about leaving?"

"Yeah, I think I'm going to stay after all."

"That's a shame to hear. You weren't treated very well." Wallace sighed, "You know (Y/n), I'm a changed man. You say the word and I can take you away from all of this nonsense."

"I'm sure you could," She smirked, "However that's not where my heart belongs."

"Ya'know, I finally figured out what you are."

"And what's that?"

"You're a wildflower. Beyond beautiful and untamable. A few thorns here and there two, but man, what I'd do just to look at you."

"Wallace..." She sighed.

"Listen, you can't blame me for trying. You can't lie, sweetheart, I have a way with words."

"You better watch those words before someone shoves them down your throat."

"There's the thorns!" He laughed a bit. "Listen, doll, you do whatever makes you happy, but don't change, alright?"

"I'll try my best not to."

"(Y/n)!" Dr. Joy rushed into her office.

She quickly hung up on Wallace shoving her phone to the side, "Huh? What? Joy, you need to knock!"

"It's important, it's — listen. I reviewed your latest brain scan, and, just look at the comparisons."

He quickly opened the folder on her desk pulling out photos of her brain scan.

"Look here."

She looked down at the scan of her brain, "I don't know what I'm looking at."

Dr. Joy then pointed to the section of her brain where she had her tumor, "Look here, do you see what's happening?"

"Oh, my brain filled itself in. That's kind of neat." She gazed down at it, "So it regrew itself? I didn't know brains could do that."

"They can't."

"I'm sorry?"

"Brains can't regrow like the way your skin repairs itself, however, yours did."

(Y/n) sat back in her chair, "Do you think it has to do with the Rainbow Serum?"
